The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is a resort built and owned by Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited, a joint venture of the Government of Hong Kong and The Walt Disney Company in Hong Kong on reclaimed land beside Penny's Bay, at the northeastern tip of Lantau Island, approximately two kilometres from Discovery Bay. Officially opened on 12 September 2005, the resort contains the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hollywood Hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge and several retail, dining and entertainment facilities covering 1.3 square kilometres (320 acres) of the island. The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is the second Disney park extension into Asia after the opening of the Tokyo Disney Resort more than 20 years earlier. Currently, the Resort is overseen by managing director Michael Moriarty who reports to Jill Estorino, President and Managing Director, Disney Parks International.

Mystic Point (Chinese: 迷離莊園) is a section of Hong Kong Disneyland that officially opened to the public on 17 May 2013. Prior to that it had a soft opening for a selected audience. It is set in a dense, uncharted rain forest surrounded by mysterious forces and supernatural events. The site features Mystic Manor, a Haunted Mansion style attraction with the same trackless ride system developed at Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo Disneyland. Mystic Point, along with Grizzly Gulch has been exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland among all Disney theme parks since opening. Composer Danny Elfman scored the music for the Mystic Manor dark ride attraction. It is the final land to open in Hong Kong Disneyland's three land expansion plan approved in July 2009.

Hong Kong Disneyland (Chinese: 香港迪士尼公園) (local nickname HKDL; also known as HK Disneyland) is a theme park located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and it is owned and managed by Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It is the largest theme park in Hong Kong, followed by Ocean Park Hong Kong. Hong Kong Disneyland was opened to visitors on Monday, 12 September 2005 at 13:00 HKT. Disney attempted to avoid problems of cultural backlash by incorporating Chinese culture, customs and traditions when designing and building the resort, including adherence to the rules of feng shui. Notably, a bend was put in a walkway near the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort entrance so good qi energy would not flow into the South China Sea.The park consists of seven themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land. The theme park's cast members speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Guide maps are printed in traditional and simplified Chinese as well as English. The park has a daily capacity of 34,000 visitors — the lowest of all Disneyland parks. The park attracted 5.2 million visitors in its first year, below its target of 5.6 million. Visitor numbers fell 20% in the second year to 4 million, inciting criticisms from local legislators. However, the park attendance jumped by 8% in the third year, attracting a total of 4.5 million visitors in 2007. In 2009, the park attendance again increased by 2% to 4.8 million visitors. The attendance continued to surge and received 5.23 million guests in the 2009/2010 fiscal year. Since the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, the theme park has hosted over 25 million guests. According to AECOM and TEA, Hong Kong Disneyland is the 13th most visited theme park in the world in 2013, with 7.4 million visitors.Majority-owned (53%) by the Hong Kong Government but managed by Disney, the park first turned an annual net profit of HK$109 million (US$13.97 million) for the year ended 29 September 2012. However, it has operated at an increasing loss in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Hong Kong Disneyland currently occupies 27.5 hectares (68 acres) and hosts 6 million to 7 million visitors annually. The park capacity will increase to handle up to 10 million visitors annually over a 15-year expansion period.

Disneyland Resort (Chinese: 迪士尼) is a station on the Hong Kong MTR Disneyland Resort line. It was built to serve the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and is located in Penny's Bay.

Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars (Traditional Chinese: 灰熊山極速礦車) is a steel roller coaster in the Grizzly Gulch section of Hong Kong Disneyland. The attraction features Audio-Animatronic bears as well as a backwards section. Big Grizzly Mountain is the second mountain and third roller coaster attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Mystic Manor (Chinese: 迷離大宅) is a dark ride attraction in the Mystic Point area of Hong Kong Disneyland. Unlike Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction and its counterparts in other Disney parks, Mystic Manor has a lighthearted, fantasy-based theme with no references to departed spirits or the afterlife, due to differences in traditional Chinese culture. The attraction does feature several references to the Haunted Mansion, such as a Medusa changing portrait, a conservatory, and the busts that turn to follow visitors as they move. References to other Disney attractions include several figures similar to those from The Enchanted Tiki Room in the Tribal Arts room.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the second Disney hotel in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The theme of the hotel is of a Victorian style, and is located near Disneyland Harbour. The hotel is built on reclaimed land and opened on 12 September 2005. The hotel has 400 guestrooms and a convention centre with ballrooms and function rooms. The Convention Centre offers three ballrooms. It is in Islands District.

Disneyland Resort Pier (Chinese: 迪士尼碼頭) is located at the south of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong, with about 15-minute walking distance from Disneyland Resort station. It is a public pier for use by private vessels, yachts as well as tour vessels 24-hour free-of-charge.It was planned to provide a ferry service between Central Piers and Disneyland Resort Pier. However, no ferry operators tendered for the service. On 15 November 2016, Star Ferry announced that it has recently transformed a 27-year-old ferry "World Star" into an environmentally friendly tour boat, it will sail between Tsim Sha Tsui and Disneyland. The company hopes to attract more tourists to explore Hong Kong on the water. The company expects to break even in six years' time.

Penny's Bay Power Station (Chinese: 竹篙灣燃氣輪機發電廠) is a gas turbine power station in Penny's Bay, Hong Kong. The HKD 1.1 billion power station was commissioned on 25 March 1992. The complex consists of three open cycle gas turbines in a rectangular turbine hall with three smokestacks. The turbines were supplied by John Brown Engineering and generators by GEC-Alsthom. It is operated by CLP Power as a standby and peaking power station. The power plant can start up in 12 minutes. Its primary fuel is ultra low sulphur diesel (ULSD). It is located at Penny's Bay on Lantau Island and its nameplate capacity is 300MW. The plant serves as a backup facility providing quick start support to CLP Power's generating system. The plant attained a thermal efficiency between 10.1% to 23.3% from 2012 to 2016.Power from the station is delivered by CLP's 132kV transmission network and through submarine cables to customers outside Lantau Island.

Disney's Hollywood Hotel is one of three hotels at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It officially opened with the resort on Monday, 12 September 2005. It is themed to 1930s Hollywood. The hotel has over 600 guestrooms. It is in Islands District.

The Inspiration Lake (Chinese: 迪欣湖), officially known as The Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre (Chinese: 迪欣湖活動中心), is a 12-hectare artificial lake located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. The lake, opened on 16 August 2005, was created as part of the development of adjacent Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as a dual-purpose project for recreation and an irrigation reservoir. Inspiration Lake was built by the Hong Kong Government and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It opens daily from 09:00 - 19:00; entrance is free.

Penny's Bay or Chok Ko Wan (Chinese: 竹篙灣) was a bay in north-eastern Lantau Island, and had been a port since the Ming dynasty. The bay has since been reclaimed and is the site of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, which consists of the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Hollywood Hotel, and the Inspiration Lake. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became home to Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre. It is connected by a highway and a rail connection on the MTR Disneyland Resort line to Sunny Bay station. Penny's Bay is located in Tsuen Wan District, but a small southern portion falls in Islands District.
