The UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health is the graduate school of public health at UCLA, and is located within the Center for Health Sciences building on UCLA's campus in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The UCLA Fielding School of Public Health has 690 students representing 25 countries, more than 11,000 alumni and 247 faculty, 70 of whom are full-time.UCLA was named the No. 1 U.S. public institution by U.S. News & World Report for the third consecutive year.Founded in 1961.

The University Cooperative Housing Association (UCHA) is a student housing cooperative in Westwood, Los Angeles near the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus. Able to house and feed over 400 members, the UCHA primarily offers housing to UCLA students, but welcomes members from any institution. The UCHA operates three buildings: Hardman-Hansen Hall (HHH or "Triple H"), Essene Hall, and Robison Hall. Jim Morrison of The Doors purportedly lived at the UCHA during his time at UCLA. Green Day and Margaret Cho performed at the UCHA in the early 1990s. Alongside the UCLA campus, Hardman-Hansen and Robison Halls were used as filming locations for the 1982 horror film, The Dorm That Dripped Blood. Many students of China's Lost Generation studying at UCLA resided at the UCHA.

The Landfair Apartments is a historic two-building multi-family complex located on the southwest corner of Landfair Avenue and Ophir Drive in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. They were colloquially known as The Glass House and was renamed Robison Hall after UCHA member Everett Robison was drafted and killed in action in World War II.The building is a part of a collection of homes designed by Los Angeles based modernist architect, Richard Neutra, and built in North West Westwood Village, which includes the Strathmore Apartments, Elkay Apartments, and Kelton Apartments. Architectural historians Robert Winter and David Gebhard has said that the Landfair Apartments is Neutra's "most International Style designs...of the 1930s."

The Los Angeles Tennis Center is a tennis facility located on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles in Westwood, Los Angeles, California. The center opened May 20, 1984, and hosted the demonstration tennis event of the 1984 Summer Olympics. The UCLA Bruins tennis teams moved to the facility in 1985 (men) and 1997 (women). The NCAA Women's Tennis Championships were held at the LATC in 1984, 1987, and 1988, and the Men's Championships took place there in 1997. The center hosted the Los Angeles Open, an ATP World Tour 250 event. The main grandstand surrounds three courts, and has a capacity of 5800 spectators. There are eight lighted, hard-surface courts at the center, which can hold 10,000 spectators. The Straus Stadium was named for Leonard Straus, the former chairman of Thrifty Drugs; the Center court was called the Times-Mirror Center Court; the drawboard was named for Johnny Carson; and the scoreboard was named Union 76 Scoreboard. The Center hosted for many years the annual "Spring Sing", UCLA's student talent show and the presentation of the George and Ira Gershwin Award. Winners included Angela Lansbury (1988), Ella Fitzgerald (1989), Ray Charles (1991), Debbie Allen (1992), Mel Torme (1994), Bernadette Peters (1995), Frank Sinatra (2000), Stevie Wonder (2002), k.d. lang (2003), James Taylor (2004), Burt Bacharach (2006), Quincy Jones (2007), Lionel Richie (2008), Julie Andrews (2009) and Brian Wilson (2011). For many years, graduation ceremonies and celebrations were also held at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. The Center hosted the 1997 Beach Volleyball World Championships, MTV Rock N' Jock, and the 2011 Coldplay concert. Presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke at the center before a large crowd on April 4, 2012. The 2015 JazzReggae Festival @ UCLA will be held at the Tennis Center on April 25, 2015. The Southern California Tennis Association (SCTA) has offices at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

The Los Angeles Open was a former tennis tournament held in Los Angeles, United States from 1927 until 2012. It included a women's draw until 1974 when Linda Lewis won the last ladies title. Subsequently, it became a men-only event and integrated into the ATP's professional tennis circuit. The inaugural edition of the event, known as the Pacific Southwest Championships, was organized by Perry T. Jones and held at the Los Angeles Tennis Club (LATC) starting in October 1927. Bill Tilden and Kea Bouman were the first singles champions. The tournament quickly became a prestigious event on the tennis calendar.

UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital (MCH) at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is a nationally ranked pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Los Angeles, California. The hospital has 156 pediatric beds, is affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine, and is a member of UCLA Health. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to pediatric patients aged 0–21 throughout California. Mattel Children's also sometimes treats adults that require pediatric care. UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital features an ACS verified pediatric level 1 trauma center. The UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital is located on the third and fifth floors of the newly constructed Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.The hospital's mission is "to provide treatment for children in a compassionate atmosphere, and, as a teaching hospital, to conduct research that improves the understanding and treatment of pediatric diseases," as stated in its mission statement.

The 1986 Virginia Slims of Los Angeles was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the Manhattan Country Club in Manhattan Beach, California in the United States and was part of the Category 4 tier of the 1986 WTA Tour. It was the 13th edition of the tournament and was held from August 11 through August 17, 1986. First-seeded Martina Navratilova won the singles title and earned $45,000 first-prize money.

The 1987 Virginia Slims of Los Angeles was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts at the Manhattan Beach Club in Manhattan Beach, California in the United States and was part of the Category 4 tier of the 1987 WTA Tour. The tournament ran from August 10 through August 16, 1987. Second-seeded Steffi Graf won the singles title and earned $50,000 first-prize money. As a result of her tournament win she became the world No. 1 ranked player for the first time in her career.

Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (also commonly referred to as UCLA Medical Center, "RRMC" or "Ronald Reagan") is a hospital located on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles, in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is currently ranked the 3rd best hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, and 1st on the West Coast. The hospital provides tertiary care to Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. UCLA Medical Center has research centers covering nearly all major specialties of medicine and nursing as well as dentistry and is the primary teaching hospital for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA School of Nursing. The hospital's emergency department is a certified level I trauma center for both adult and pediatric patients. Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is a constituent part of UCLA Health, a comprehensive consortium of research hospitals and medical institutes affiliated with UCLA, including Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA, UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, and UCLA Medical Group. Collectively, the hospitals and specialty-care facilities of the UCLA Health system make it among the most comprehensive and advanced healthcare systems in the United States. The hospital has been ranked in the top twenty in 15 of the 16 medical specialties ranked by the US News ranking. Ten of those specialties were ranked in the top ten. In 2005, the American Nurses Credentialing Center granted the medical center "Magnet" status.
