By 2010, the district's population was 9,759 people. The educational attainment levels for the district's population aged 25 years and over were 81.4% high school graduates and 10.6% college graduates. According to the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center, 38% of the district's pupils lived at 185% or below the Federal Poverty level as shown by their eligibility for the federal free or reduced price school meal programs in 2012. In 2009, the district residents' per capita income was $18,098, while the median family income was $45,231. In Dauphin County, the median household income was $52,371. In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the median family income was $49,501 and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010. Upper Dauphin Area School District operates three schools: Upper Dauphin Area Elementary School, Upper Dauphin Area Middle School, and Upper Dauphin Area High School.

Romberger-Stover House is a historic home located at Berrysburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The original house was built in 1842; it is now the rear wing and measures 20 feet by 24 feet. The main house was added in 1887. It is a two-story, wood-frame Queen Anne-style dwelling measuring 22 feet by 32 feet. It features a porch supported by Corinthian order columns. The porch was added in 1898. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The high school serves the boroughs of Lykens, Elizabethville, Gratz, Berrysburg, and Pillow, as well as Jefferson Township, Washington Township, Mifflin Township, and Lykens Township. The Upper Dauphin Area School District encompasses approximately 91 square miles (240 km2). In 2015, enrollment was 386 pupils in 9th through 12th grades. In 2014, Upper Dauphin Area High School enrollment was reported as 396 pupils in 9th through 12th grades, with 33% of pupils eligible for a free lunch due to family poverty. Additionally, 13.3% of pupils received special education services, while less than 1% of pupils were identified as gifted. The school employed 27 teachers. The Capital Area Intermediate Unit IU15 provides the school with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty. Students do not have access to vocational and trade education outside of the district's limited program (Agriculture, Job-Seeking Skills and Carpentry).

Deep Creek is a tributary of Mahantango Creek in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 5.9 miles (9.5 km) long and flows through Lykens Township and Pillow. The watershed of the creek has an area of 10.6 square miles (27 km2). It is not designated as an impaired waterbody, but is nevertheless observed to have high nitrate concentrations. Major land uses in the creek's watershed include agricultural land and forested land. The creek's watershed is classified as a Warmwater Fishery.

Pillow is a borough in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 291 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area.

WQBG (100.5 FM, "Bigfoot Country") is a country music formatted radio station licensed to serve Elizabethville, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by Seven Mountains Media, through licensee Southern Belle, LLC, and is operated out of studios in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. It serves areas along the Susquehanna River south of Selinsgrove. The station operates in simulcast with sister stations WRBG and WCFT-FM. Although also owned by Seven Mountains Media, WQBG and its three other simulcasting frequencies feature different programming than WIBF and WDBF, which are also branded as Bigfoot Country.
