Orchard Ridge, Baltimore is a neighborhood in the Northeastern part of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was formerly known as Claremont-Freedom. The neighborhood was redeveloped as a mixed tenancy, mixed-income community with 461 units. It includes both rental and homeownership townhouses, semi-detached homes, apartments and a community center.

Armistead Gardens is a neighborhood in the Northeast District of Baltimore. It is located north of Pulaski Highway and east of Erdman Avenue, between Herring Run Park (northeast) and the East District neighborhood of Orangeville (southwest).Armistead Gardens is home to four churches, Armistead Gardens Elementary School, and the Bohemian National Cemetery. Kresson is a neighborhood of Southeast Baltimore, Maryland, United States.The area currently known as Kresson is primarily an industrial district, though a small section contains a residential neighborhood. Residents of Kresson often refer to their neighborhood as Highlandtown, a larger, adjacent residential neighborhood. Kresson's boundaries are defined by Pulaski Highway (U.S. Route 40) to the north, East Lombard and East Pratt Streets to the south, Haven Street (north and south portions) to the west and rail tracks to the east.The residential neighborhood in Kresson is architecturally, like much of Baltimore, composed of rowhouses. These row houses were constructed around the year 1900. The 2000 census determined its residents to be racially diverse, though predominantly lower-income. The neighborhood of 395 people was 75.9% white, and 20.3% African American.Kresson Street, which runs through the heart of the Kresson neighborhood, from East Lombard Street to East Monument Street (0.1 miles outside Kresson) is a section of MD 150.The north-south streets are arranged in consecutive order alphabetically, so to the west of Kresson lie Baylis, Conkling, Dean, Eaton, Fagley, Grundy, Haven, Iris and Janney, while those to the east are named Lehigh, Macon, Newkirk, Oldham, Ponca, Quail, Rappolla, Savage, Tolna and Umbra.

Maryland Bible College & Seminary, founded in 1988, is a Bible college in Baltimore, Maryland. It is a successor to Stevens School of the Bible. The college is affiliated with Greater Grace World Outreach and was founded by Carl H. Stevens Jr.

Greater Grace World Outreach (GGWO) is a nondenominational evangelical Christian church that emphasizes grace, the finished work, and missions. The headquarters of Greater Grace World Outreach is currently located at its megachurch (locally named Greater Grace Church Baltimore) in Baltimore, Maryland. The church has a weekly attendance of 1500+. GGWO was founded by Carl H. Stevens Jr. who was succeeded by Pastor Thomas Schaller as Presiding Elder and Overseeing Pastor of Greater Grace World Outreach in Baltimore in April 2005. GGWO has been investigated by multiple organizations for cult-like practices including spiritual abuse by leadership. The church is thriving and has over 500 churches throughout the world. Most of these churches are located in North America, Europe and Africa, with larger congregations in Hungary, Azerbaijan and Ghana. Most of the pastors attended affiliated Maryland Bible College & Seminary in Baltimore, however there are many other affiliated Bible colleges around the world. The ministries of Greater Grace also include the radio program Grace Hour, Greater Grace Christian Academy, Christian Sports Clubs, along with other internal ministries.

Dr. Samuel L. Banks High School was a public secondary school in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was part of the small schools initiative in order to consolidate larger schools into smaller learning environments.

Thurgood Marshall High School was a public high school located in Baltimore, Maryland. The school is named for Baltimore native Thurgood Marshall, the first African American to be appointed as a Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (abbreviated JHBMC or Bayview; formerly Francis Scott Key Medical Center and Baltimore City Hospitals) is the teaching hospital trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, geriatrics center, and is home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma in Maryland, containing about 420 beds. Located in southeast Baltimore City, Maryland, along Eastern Avenue near Bayview Boulevard, it is part of the Johns Hopkins Health System and named after its close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay. Founded in 1773 as an almshouse, it was relocated several times until its now present location in 1866. In 1925, it transitioned into several municipal hospitals, which transferred ownership to Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1984.

The transmitter is on East Monument Street in the Orangeville section of East Baltimore.

WOLB (1010 AM) is an urban talk/urban contemporary radio station in Baltimore, Maryland. The station is owned by Urban One and broadcasts from studios in Woodlawn and a transmitter in the Orangewood section of east Baltimore.
