Sinking Creek is a tributary of Penns Creek in Centre County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 19.8 miles (31.9 km) long and flows through Harris Township, Potter Township, and Gregg Township. The watershed of the creek has an area of 40.70 square miles (105.4 km2).

Sinking Creek flows northeastward along the northern foot of Egg Hill. The town of Spring Mills is located at the northeastern end.The historic Egg Hill Church is located at the southwestern end of the hill.

Penns Valley is an eroded anticlinal valley of the Pennsylvania ridge and valley geologic region of the Appalachian Mountain range. The valley is located in southern Centre County, Pennsylvania. Along with the Nittany Valley to the north and east, it is part of the larger Nittany Anticlinorium. It is bordered by Mount Nittany to the north, the Seven Mountains range to the south, and connects to the larger Nittany Valley to the west. There are two smaller subordinate valleys typically associated with the greater valley: Georges Valley in the south, separated by Egg Hill, and Brush Valley in the north, separated by Brush Mountain.

Used as a hotel from 1885 into the early 1900s, it is part of the Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park that is located in Gregg Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. Now used strictly for the offices of Penn's Cave, Inc., it has not offered overnight or hotel accommodations since 1919. This property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Daniel Waggoner Log House and Barn is a historic home and barn located at Potter Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. The log house was built about 1809, and is a two-story dwelling with a gable roof, measuring 32 feet by 28 feet. Also on the property is a contributing log barn, also built about 1809.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Egg Hill Church is a historic church located at Potter Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1860, and is a one-story, banked building built of pine on a stone foundation. It measures 35 feet wide and 42 feet long. Regular services at the church were suspended in 1927. The church is located at the southwest end of Egg Hill. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Andrew Gregg Homestead, also known as the Bernard P. Taylor Residence, is a historic home located at Potter Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1825, and is a two-story, L-shaped, limestone dwelling with a gable roof. At the rear is a one-story frame summer kitchen with a loft and dining room. The interior has a traditional Georgian center hall plan. The house was built by Andrew Gregg, Jr., son of Congressman Andrew Gregg (1755–1835).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
