The Embassy of Russia in Washington, D.C. (Russian: Посольство России в США) is the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation to the United States. The chancery is located at 2650 Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C. The embassy oversees consulates in New York and Houston.

The Field School is a preparatory school in Washington, D.C., located in the old Cafritz mansion on Foxhall Road. The school teaches 6th-12th grade, with about 368 students attending as of the 2019–2020 school year.

Russian Embassy School in Washington, D.C. (Russian: Средняя общеобразовательная школа при Посольстве России в США, г. Вашингтон) is a Russian overseas school in Washington, DC. The school was first established in 1957 and received its current name in 1996. The students are children of diplomats from Russia. It is operated by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it serves elementary school through senior high school.

Glover Park is a neighborhood in northwest Washington, D.C., about a half mile north of Georgetown and just west of the United States Naval Observatory and Number One Observatory Circle (the Vice President's mansion). Every morning and evening, Glover Park residents can hear the Naval Observatory play the sounding of colors synchronized to the nation's Master Clock. It is named after Charles Carroll Glover.

Annunciation Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish located in northwest Washington, D.C. It has an attached school, Annunciation Catholic School. The parish is known for hosting regular musical performances, the Roth Concerts.

The Kreeger Museum is a modern and contemporary non-profit art museum located in Washington D.C. It is located in the former home of David Lloyd Kreeger and Carmen Kreeger and it contains the art collection they acquired from 1952 to 1988.

Wesley Heights is a small affluent neighborhood of Washington, D.C. situated south of Spring Valley. Wesley Heights was founded in 1890 by a land speculation group led by John Waggaman and funded primarily by Charles C. Glover; Wesley Heights was further developed by the brothers William C. and Allison N. Miller during the 1920s. Modern-day Wesley Heights is bordered by Massachusetts Avenue (on the east), Nebraska Avenue (on the north), Battery-Kemble Park (on the west) and Glover Parkway (on the south). Foxhall Road and New Mexico Avenue are the main roadway passing through Wesley Heights. To protect the character of the original historic housing design of Wesley Heights, the Wesley Heights Zoning Overlay was developed and approved by District of Columbia Zoning Commission on July 13, 1992, at the urging of the Wesley Heights Historical Society. Current homeowners and new housing development within the Wesley Heights overlay must meet specific building codes. The Wesley overlay covers areas west of New Mexico Avenue (on the East), Nebraska Avenue (on the North), Battery-Kemble Park (on the West) and Glover Parkway (on the South). The overlay restriction does not cover development on housing located on the former Charles C. Glover country estate. Modern day Wesley Heights is located in Ward 3 Advisory Neighborhood Commission under 3D01.

The Kittitian and Nevisian ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the Government in Basseterre to the Government of the United States.

National Gurdwara is a Sikh gurdwara located in Washington, D.C. Located on Massachusetts Avenue, the National Gurdwara is the first and only Sikh institution in the capital of the United States. It is located near the National Cathedral, Naval Observatory and American University. The gurdwara officially opened in February 2006, and cost over 2 million US dollars. Along with religious services, Punjabi language classes and kirtan classes are held.

The Dominican ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the Government in Roseau to the Government of the United States.

The Saint Lucianese ambassador in Washington, D.C. is the official representative of the Government in Castries to the Government of the United States.
