Segersjön

Botkyrka Municipality (Botkyrka kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, not far from the capital Stockholm. Its seat is located in the town of Tumba. In 1971 Grödinge was merged with Botkyrka and in 1974 Salem was added. The Salem part was split off again in 1983, and a new Salem Municipality was formed. Botkyrka has an estimated population of 91,925.

Tumba is a bimunicipal locality and the seat of Botkyrka Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden with 37,852 inhabitants in 2010. A part of its statistical urban area, called Rönninge, is in Salem Municipality. The population is 35,311 (2005). The Swedish krona banknotes are printed by Crane AB at Tumba Bruk, in Tumba. Tumba is situated half-way between Stockholm and Södertälje and is considered a Stockholm suburb. In Tumba and Rönninge there are stations on the Stockholm commuter rail network. Tumba also has a High School (Tumba gymnasium) with almost 1.000 students. The Alfa Laval company was founded in Tumba by Gustaf de Laval and remains in the suburb, as does DeLaval, split from Alfa Laval in 1991. Tumba is diverse, with high-rise apartment buildings and single-family houses. Tumba also has a shopping mall, Tumba Centrum, near the railway station. The melodic death metal band Amon Amarth is from Tumba.

Tumba Bruk was the printing company responsible for the manufacturing of the Swedish krona banknotes. The company was founded by Sveriges Riksbank in 1755 to produce banknotes, making it the world's oldest factory of its kind. In 2002, the company was sold to the current owner, banknote paper supplier Crane & Co. It is located in Tumba, close to Stockholm. The facility and its park was designated a listed building in 2001.

Garnudden Nature Reserve (Swedish: Garnuddens naturreservat) is a nature reserve in Salem Municipality, Stockholm County in Sweden. The purpose of the nature reserve is to protect the natural values of the area for the future, as it is located close to an urban environment, as well as an effort to sustain the biodiversity of the area. The area is topographically varied and is typical for forest areas on Södertörn. Several protected species are known from the area, including Phellinus pini and Cortinarius sulfurinus.The area is accessible to visitors via footpaths. A beach for bathing also lies within the reserve and is supervised by Salem Municipality.

Aspen is a lake in Botkyrka Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. The lake is crossed by the European route E4/European route E20 and is located about 20 kilometres southwest of Stockholm, the Swedish capital. It has an area of 1 km2.During the Stone Age, Aspen was in the ocean, but was uplifted by the time of the Bronze Age. Bronze Age settlements grew up around the lake and for some thousand years Iron Age farms were around the lake. The area developed during this period. A graveyard from that period is preserved in the area. Skrävsta Ekholmen nature reserve is in the vicinity of the lake with about sixty large oak trees, half of which are centuries old. There are large bats and many other rare animal and plant species. Around the lake is a nature trail at 7½ km length. The path leads through the woods, high above the marsh.

Vårsta is a suburb of Greater Stockholm and a locality situated in Botkyrka Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 2,396 inhabitants in 2010.

Tumba is a station on the Stockholm commuter rail in Tumba, Botkyrka Municipality, Sweden, approximately 23 km from Stockholm C, between the stations of Tullinge and Rönninge. The station consists of two platforms with a ticket hall with entrance from a pedestrian bridge and was introduced in its present form in the year 1994. In 2019, the number of passengers boarding on an average weekday was estimated at 9,500.In 1982 the station was the filming location for the ABBA video for their song The Day Before You Came.

Salem (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈsɑ̌ːlɛm]) is the seat of Salem Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. Statistically it is a part of the bimunicipal contiguously built-up Tumba urban area.In 2005, Salem had a population of 14,171. The number of inhabitants increased to ca. 16,000 in 2008, and to almost 17,000 in 2020 .

Salem Municipality (Salems kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. The name traces its origins from Slæm in the 13th century, but was changed to Salem in the 17th century, inspired by the Biblical name of Jerusalem. Its seat is located in Salem.

Storvreten is a residential area in Tumba, Botkyrka. Storvreten was built during the late 1960s and early 1970s. The proportion of inhabitants with a foreign background in (2003) was 38,6 %.

Norsborg metro station is the end station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in Norsborg, Botkyrka Municipality. The distance to Slussen is 20.8 km. The station was opened on 12 January 1975 as the southwestern terminus of the extension from Fittja.The new Norsborg Depot was built immediately beside Norsborg station between 2012 and 2016, and houses the new SL C30 trains that started operations on the red line in 2020.
