Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground

Goa Cricket Association Stadium is a cricket stadium, proposed to be built in Dhargal, Goa. The stadium will be the home ground for Goa Cricket Association. The project is currently suspended due to various problems including but was obstructed by the corruption and financial troubles. Goa is the only state association that does not own its own ground.The ground will be established in 1.30 lakh square metres with all facilities like practice stadium, indoor practice area etc. The ground will have floodlight so that stadium can host day-night matches with capacity of 45,000 persons.

Mall De Goa is a shopping mall in Porvorim in the Indian state of Goa. It is the largest shopping mall in Goa and was the second mall in the state after Caculo Mall in the capital Panaji. The mall was opened on 27 February 2016. It contains more than 82 retail outlets including food courts, restaurants, family entertainment zones and an INOX multiplex. The property is owned by Jai Bhuvan Group. The estimated cost for this project is nearly INR 100 crores. Mall De Goa was inaugurated at the hands of former Defence Minister and Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar on 27 February 2016. The mall is spread across 1,80,000 square feet. On 4 February 2017, DJ Aneesh Gera launched the 'Offersky App' on the Google Play Store which would enable the people to browse through different offers and other activities ongoing in the mall.

Socorro is a village that lies five kilometres to the east of Mapusa town in Bardez taluka. It is administered by a panchayat represented by members from the seven wards of Ambirna, Arrarim, Carrem, Maina, Porvorim, Vaddem and Zosvaddo. It is also considered as a census town in North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It once formed part of the comunidade and the larger village of Serula. Serula has since been divided into the villages of Salvador do Mundo, Penha da Franca (Britona), Pomburpa and Socorro. The village takes its name from the patron saint or deity of its parish church, our Lady of Succour or Nossa Senhora do Socorro.

Penha de França is a town in Bardez, Goa in India. It is north of the capital Panjim in North Goa. It takes its name from the patroness of its church, Nossa Senhora da Penha de França which it shares with Penha de França in Lisbon. It is the birthplace of writer Vimala Devi.

Marra is a small village in North Goa's Bardez sub-district or taluka. It falls in the Assembly constituency of Saligao. It is surrounded by the areas of Candolim and Pilerne, among others.

Porvorim (pronounced Parvari [puːrʋɔrĩ]), is the De facto legislative and executive capital of the state of Goa, India, as both the Goa Legislative Assembly and Secretariat are functioning from the same complex in the region of Alto Porvorim in porvorim.(Alto – Portuguese word meaning high or upper). Soon it will also become the De facto judicial capital of Goa, when the High Court of Bombay at Goa (Bombay High Court – Panaji Bench) which is currently functioning from Lyceum complex in Panaji, is transferred to the new building complex which is being constructed in Alto – Betim Porvorim region of Porvorim. The construction of the new building is expected to be completed by December 2020. Porvorim is situated on the right bank (north bank) of the Mandovi River, as de jure capital of Goa, Panaji is located on the opposite bank. Porvorim is considered an upmarket residential hub as it lies on the Mumbai–Goa highway NH66. Goa's largest shopping centre – Mall De Goa – is situated here.

Porvorim Assembly constituency is one of the 40 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Goa state in India. Porvorim is also one of the 20 constituencies falling under the North Goa Lok Sabha constituency. It is part of North Goa district.

Pilerne is a village situated in north Goa in the Bardez taluka of the North Goa district. It is rustic despite being fairly close to the North Goa tourist belt, and is considered a Census Town for the purposes of the Census. The village has mainly been inhabited by Goan Catholics.

Sangolda is a village in Bardez sub-district, North Goa, India.

The Mandovi bridge is a set of two bridges. It carries four lanes over the Mandovi river. It was Russian in design and the first to be used in this country. The first Mandovi bridge was built in 1971 and the second one in 1998.On 5 July 1986 the first bridge collapsed. After the collapse, this project required the dismantling of the old bridge structure and strengthening with by filling M20 concrete. The total cost of construction was ₹20 million (US$250,000). The parallel bridges have a length of 600 metres each.

The Atal Setu is a cable-stayed bridge in Goa that runs between Panaji and Porvorim. It carries National Highway 66 over the tidal part of the Mandovi River. It is 5.1 kilometres (3.2 mi) long, making it the third longest cable-stayed bridge in India. Two wheelers, three wheelers and bullock carts are prohibited from using the Atal Setu due to its height of 30 metres (98 ft). It officially opened on 5 February 2019.

The Instituto Vasco da Gama (Institute Vasco da Gama) Goa, today known as the Institute Menezes Braganza, was founded in 1871 on the initiative of Tomás António Ribeiro Ferreira, better known by Tomás Ribeiro, with the aim of promoting and supporting science and Lusophone literature in Goa. The Instituto Vasco da Gama promoted the golden age of Indo-Portuguese literature, and journalistic interventions besides texts in historiography and poetry.The institution received a building from the Portuguese authorities for the setting-up of its headquarters and the necessary financial support for the publication of the Boletim do Instituto Vasco da Gama (Bulletin of the Institute Vasco da Gama), a monthly journal. After a period of erasure, the Institute was restructured in 1924.In 1963, after the merger of Goa into India, it has changed its name to Institute Menezes Bragança, named after Luís de Menezes Braganza, journalist and one of the Goan pioneers of anti-colonialism.From March 1925, the Instituto Vasco da Gama was attached to the Biblioteca Pública de Goa (public library of Goa).In, 15 April 1952, it was made a Commander of the Order of Saint James of the Sword (Comendador da Ordem Militar de Sant'Iago da Espada).
