Brigade Road is a large commercial centre and one of the busiest shopping areas in the heart of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka State, India. It is a one-way connecting road from M G Road to Hosur Road, also connecting Residency Road and Church Street on the way.

Church Street is one of the busiest streets in the Central Business District of Bangalore, India. It is a 750-metre stretch from Brigade Road to St. Mark's Road, running parallel to M G Road. The street is named for St. Mark's Cathedral to which it leads.A tourist hotspot, the street is a major revenue-generating area and a popular New Year's Eve celebration centre.In December 2014, an IED blast on Church Street caused one death and injuries to four others. The attack was suspected to have been carried out by the terrorist organisation Indian Mujahideen.In 2017, redevelopment work began on Church Street at a cost of ₹9 crore, which made it the first street in the city to be paved from granite cobblestones. The cobblestones were laid in a Kasuti pattern to reflect Karnataka's cultural heritage. Shortly after completion, there were reports of cobblestones coming apart on certain sections of the road.

The land is expensive; Brigade Road is India's sixth-most expensive street and Mahatma Gandhi Road, Bangalore is the 13th most expensive. It also houses many other high streets including Commercial Street, 100-feet Road Indiranagar as well as the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. CBD has attracted many tourists over the years as there are many facilities for them. Overall it is a simple business district with a cool and calm environment. It attracts many visitors on weekends. It has parks, government offices, many educational institutions, business houses and hotels, tourist spots, shopping destinations, stadiums, museums, temples, mosques, churches, art galleries and entertainment zones.

Sandesh Museum of Communication is a museum in Bangalore and is dedicated to the postal history of India and different modes of communication. The museum opened its doors in 2019 and is located inside a 140 year-old post office, preserved and refurbished as a museum.

Mayo Hall is a government building located in the center of Bangalore. It was built to honor the memory of Lord Mayo, the 4th Viceroy of India. It offers a panoramic view of the city's Parade Grounds and Ulsoor Lake on one side, and the Bangalore Race Course and Brigade Grounds on the south. This two-story structure is known for its ornate furniture and architecture. It is adorned by chandeliers, Greek cornices, Tuscan columns, stone arches, wooden floors and beautiful furnishings. It became a popular tourist attraction.

St. Andrew's Church [1], consecrated in 1866, is a Presbyterian church, located on Cubbon Road, Bangalore. Initially knows as St. Andrews's Kirk, it was a Church of Scotland church till 1959 when it became part of the Karnataka Central Diocese of the Church of South India. The church is named after Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland. St Andrew's Church celebrated its 150 years anniversary on 20 November 2014.The church was consecrated in memory of Mary Elizabeth McGoun (died 1867), wife of Col. Thomas McGoun of the 6th Madras Native Infantry (died 19 April 1868 at Marseilles on the way back to Scotland, has a memorial stone at the St. Andrew's Kirk, Madras), it was once known as the martyr's church. The monument to the memory of Mary Elizabeth is located at the end of the church altar.

Mahatma Gandhi Road also known as M.G. Road is a road in Bengaluru, India. It runs east from Trinity circle at one end to Anil Kumble circle at the other. Known as South Parade in pre-independence era, it was renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Road on 26 February 1948.M. G. Road is also one of the busiest roads in the city and is lined on one side with retail stores, food outlets, restaurants and many more. It has many office buildings, shops and theatres. It is also a home to many buildings and banks. There are two Metro stations on M. G. Road, the eponymous station and Trinity. Presently, the M.G Road Boulevard is being reconstructed after construction of the MG Road Metro station was completed and services launched on 20 October 2011. The Bangalore Metro line that runs through MG Road, connects the eastern part of Bengaluru with the west.
