Lower Dicker is a 0.1-hectare (0.25-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Hailsham in East Sussex. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.

Michelham Priory is the site of a former Augustinian Priory in Upper Dicker, East Sussex, England, United Kingdom. The surviving buildings are owned and administered by the Sussex Archaeological Society and are Grade I and Grade II listed.A T-shaped stone-built structure, the east and north wings date from the 13th century and the west wing from the 16th century. The north wing, originally the Priors Lodging, comprises three storeys with an attic and the other two wings two storeys. The roof is tiled. The whole is surrounded by a moat, enclosing an area of almost 8 acres (3.2 ha).A watermill in the grounds of the priory has been restored to working order and is open to the public.

The Out of the Ordinary Festival was an annual family- and eco-friendly music festival near Hailsham in the Sussex countryside. From 2007 to 2013 it celebrated the autumn equinox in England with a variety of live music, talks and workshops, performances, activities for children with green and ethical businesses, many powered by solar panels and wind generators. It started as a development of The Antiquarian Society in Brighton. The festival took place for three days in the autumn and had a capacity of 5,000 people. Horselunges Manor is a 15th-century manor house in Hellingly, East Sussex, that was restored in the 20th century. The house was previously owned by Peter Grant, the manager of Led Zeppelin, and featured in the film The Song Remains the Same about the band. Horselunges Manor is a Grade I listed building.

Gun Hill is a hamlet in the civil parish of Chiddingly in the Wealden district of East Sussex, England. It is one of the seven hills of the parish in which it stands. Its nearest town is Uckfield, which lies approximately 7 miles (11 km) north-west from the village. The hamlet is where Wealden and Wealdway cheeses are produced.

The Cuckoo Trail is a 14-mile (23 km) footpath and cycleway which runs from Hampden Park to Heathfield in East Sussex. It passes through the towns of Polegate and Hailsham, as well as the villages of Hellingly and Horam.

Hailsham Community College is a coeducational all-through school and sixth form with academy status, located in Hailsham, East Sussex, England. There are currently around 1160 pupils at HCC. Hailsham Community College has five buildings, a main block, science block, craft block and sixth form block, as well as a sports hall and astro turf. The sports hall is a million pound lottery-funded building which was built in 2006.The college has a pathway system in which some students are able to take their GCSE exams a year early.In June 2007 the college was awarded the Healthy Schools Gold standard for its work on students' health and wellbeing.The college became an academy on 1 August 2012.Previously a secondary school, in September 2019 Hailsham Community College opened a primary school department and so is now an all-through school.
