Fatima Jinnah Women University (Urdu: فاطمہ جناح وؤمن یونیورسٹی) or FJWU is a public university in the neighborhood of Mall Road of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.

The National University of Modern Languages, Rawalpindi, formerly known as APCOMS, is a university branch located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan and is part of National University of Modern Languages.

Ayub National Park, commonly known as Ayub Park or, historically, Topi Rakh Park (Rakh lit. reserve in Potwari), is a national park located on the Grand Trunk Road, not far away from the old presidency in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.The park was established before the creation of Pakistan and covers an area of 313 acres (127 ha). It was named after the former President of Pakistan Field Marshal Ayub Khan. It is the largest park in the Islamabad–Rawalpindi metropolitan area, and is claimed to be one of the largest in Asia.

Formally known for wrestlers and thugs, culture in Gawalmandi shifted highly after Zia regime as more and more people started pursuing higher and even post graduate education. Gawalmandi has significantly high literacy rate.

St. Ann's Presentation Convent High School, Rawalpindi, is a private Catholic missionary school located in Lalkurti area of Rawalpindi Cantonment, Pakistan. In spite of its name, the school caters for students seeking an elementary and high school education.

St. Joseph's Cathedral, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is the main church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Islamabad-Rawalpindi.Four armed guards sit at the gates of the Cathedral, guarding it as well as the Bishop's House in a garden set behind a high wall. Threats from Islamic militants have made this protection essential. Although almost any Christian institution faces similar danger, the Church has no money to pay for more guards.St. Joseph's Cathedral has large congregations from Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surrounding areas for Good Friday, Easter and Christmas services each year.The Cathedral parish is also home to St. Catherine's Convent. The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary host the St. Catherine's Sewing Center, training poor women in sewing, crochet and embroidery; the women produce hand-made objects for sale.

The Christ Church, Rawalpindi is a church situated in the city of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It was built in 1852 in the gothic style. The church is situated in Lalkurti in cantonment area on Iftikhar Janjua Road beside PC Hotel. The church is considered among the oldest buildings in Rawalpindi.

The Joint Staff Headquarters (reporting name:JS HQ), is the military headquarters of the Pakistan Armed Forces at the vicinity of the Chaklala, Rawalpindi, Punjab in Pakistan. Constructed on an accelerated schedule in 1972, the JS HQ, which also includes the post of Army GHQ, serves as a principle headquarters of the Pakistan Armed Forces with concerns relating to higher direction of war, operational planning, and deterrence developments.: 46 

Army Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It is the home of the Pakistan Army FC. It is also made use by the Pakistan Army for train purposes. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000.

St. Paul's Church is a presbyterian church located opposite to General Headquarters in Rawalpindi Cantonment, Pakistan. It is the second-oldest church in Rawalpindi after Christ Church, Rawalpindi.Initially the church was established in 1908 with the help of Church of Scotland. Rev. Dr. Samuel Titus is the pastor-in-charge.Currently, the church is being run by the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan.

The Shri Krishna mandir (Urdu: شری کرشنا مندر), or the Krishna Temple, is a Hindu temple located in Rawalpindi in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is situated between the Rawalpindi railway station and Kabari Bazaar in Saddar. Currently, it is one of the two places of worship for the approximately 7,000 Hindus living in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, with the other handful of temples being non-functional. Hindu festivals like Holi and Diwali are celebrated here.It covers an area of less than 4 marlas (around 101 m2). The courtyard of the double-storey building has a capacity to accommodate around 100 worshippers.
