The Yüreğir Serinevler Arena (Turkish: Yüreğir Serinevler Spor Salonu) is a multi-sport indoor arena located at the Serinevler neighbourhood, in the Yüreğir district of the city of Adana. It has a seating capacity of 2,500.It hosts national and international sports events such as basketball, volleyball, handball and wrestling. The facility contains two wall mounted scoreboards, two locker rooms, a press room, a cafeteria and VIP lounge. The wheelchair basketball teams of Adana Martı Engelliler Sports Club and Adana Engelliler Sports Club play their Turkish League home matches in the sports hall. Women's volleyball team of Şakirpaşa HEM plays some of their games here.

Kiremithane station is the railway station of Yüreğir district, in the city of Adana. The station is served by one regional and one long-distance line. The Kiremithane railway station has no station buildings. The only infrastructure present at the station is the waiting shelter. Tickets can be purchased inside the train because there is no ticket booth in the station.

Serinevler Athletics Stadium (Turkish: Serinevler Atletizm Pisti) is a sports venue for athletics competitions in track and field located in Yüreğir, Adana.

Yüreğir (Turkish: [jyˈɾeiɾ]) is a municipality and district of Adana Province, Turkey. Its area is 835 km2, and its population is 404,726 (2022). It is the second most populated district of the province with a population of over 400,000, mostly concentrated on the east side of the Seyhan river, within the city of Adana.

Yüreğir Cultural Centre (Turkish: Yüreğir Kültür Merkezi) is a complex in the Yüreğir district of Adana, that is composed of three conference halls. The centre is built in the Seljuk architecture, next to a park in the Kazım Karabekir neighbourhood. Yüreğir Cultural Centre has the largest hall in Adana, with 1000-seater capacity, and it is used mostly for conferences. The other two halls, 200-seater both, are for conferences and weddings.

Merkez Park (English: Central Park) is a 33-hectare (82-acre) urban park that is located on both banks of the Seyhan River in Adana. The larger portion of the park, 30 hectares (74 acres), is on the west bank. Merkez Park starts just north of Sabancı Mosque and extends north to Galleria Shopping Mall. On the west of the park there is Fuzuli Street. On the east bank, the park starts north of the Sheraton Hotel (under construction) and extends north to the Acqualand Entertainment Center. On the east, the park is bordered with Hacı Sabancı Boulevard. Sinanpaşa and Yavuzlar footbridges connect both sections of the park.

Sabancı Merkez Camii (English: Sabancı Central Mosque) in Adana is the second largest mosque in Turkey. The exterior of the mosque (and its interior decoration) is similar to the Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, though it has six minarets, similar to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) in Istanbul. The mosque, which went into service in 1998, was constructed upon a confiscated Armenian cemetery. It is built on a total of 52,600 square metres (566,000 square feet) of land and has a closed area of 6,600 square metres (71,000 square feet).Sabancı Central Mosque was built jointly by Turkish Religious Foundation and Sabanci Foundation. The proprietorship of the mosque belongs to Adana Religious Affairs Foundation and its usage rights have been transferred to Adana Provincial Office of Mufti.

The Seyhan River (formerly written Seihan, Sihun; ancient name: Ancient Greek: Σάρος, Sáros), alternatively known as Sarus (or in Turkish as Sarus Su), is the longest river of Cilicia and the longest of Turkey that flows into the Mediterranean Sea. The river is 560 km and flows southwest from its headwaters in the Tahtalı-Mountains (in Sivas and Kayseri provinces) in the Anti-Taurus Mountains to the Mediterranean Sea via a broad delta. Its main tributaries are Zamantı and Göksu, which unite in Aladağ, Adana to form the Seyhan River. The Zamantı River originates from the Uzun Plateau in Pınarbaşı, Kayseri and crosses Tomarza, Develi and Yahyalı districts in Kayseri. Its sources were reported being in the Taurus Mountains in Cataonia. It flowed through Cappadocia by the town of Comana, then through Cilicia. It is noted by numerous ancient authors including Livy, Xenophon, Procopius, Strabo, Ptolemy, Appian, Pliny the Elder, and Eustathius of Thessalonica who erroneously calls it Sinarus.50 km from its mouth, Seyhan River flows through the city of Adana, the only settlement situated on the river. Several bridges and footbridges cross the river in Adana including the Stone Bridge, a 2nd-century Roman bridge. Ancient city of Augusta was also situated on the river, corresponding today to the east side of the Çatalan reservoir. The river meets the Mediterranean Sea at Cape Deli.

Taşköprü (Italian: Ponte in pietra, English: Stone bridge), historically known as Ponte Sarus, is a Roman bridge spanning the Seyhan River in Adana that was probably built in the first half of the second century AD. The bridge was a key link in ancient trade routes from the Mediterranean Sea to Anatolia and Persia. Until its closure in 2007, it was one of the oldest bridges in the world open to motorized vehicles. Since 2007 it has only carried foot traffic, and now hosts social and cultural events. Among the names used for the bridge during its history are the Saros Bridge, the Bridge of Justinian, the al-Walid Bridge and Taşköprü ("Stone Bridge" in Turkish).

Adana Center for Arts and Culture is a public facility for cultural events, operating at the historical state building of Adana that served as a school for most of its history. The center is located on the west bank of Seyhan River just south of the Taşköprü, on Seyhan Street.

Ramazanoğlu Cultural Center is a complex in the Karşıyaka quarter of the city of Adana. The centre is composed of a theatre hall, public library and an exhibition hall. It is located in the Seyhan neighborhood of the Yüreğir district, close to the east end of the Regulatör Bridge.

Karşıyaka (pronounced [kaɾʃɯˈjaka]), formerly Verâ-yı Cisr, is a quarter in the Yüreğir district of the city of Adana. The quarter is on the banks of Seyhan river, just across the old town. Settled in early 19th century, Karşıyaka is the first expansion of Adana to the east bank of Seyhan River. During the Egyptian rule of Adana (1833-1840), neighborhood was founded for the Alawites that had migrated from Syria. It is bordered by D400 state road on the north, Seyhan river on the west and Yüreğir Canal on the east. Yüreğir District Hall, Adana State Hospital and Asri Cemetery are located in this zone.
