Adana Metro (Turkish: Adana metrosu) is a rail rapid transit system extending 13.5 kilometers (8.39 mi) along a north–south corridor through Adana, with 13 stations. It can transport 21,600 passengers per hour per direction. The total travel time on the metro, end to end, takes 21 minutes, including all stops.

Çukurova is a municipality and district of Adana Province, Turkey. Its area is 250 km2, and its population is 389,175 (2022). Its population is concentrated within the city of Adana, occupying north-west of the city. It is a modern residential district which came into being in the last 30 years as the city expanded north. Çukurova is located north of the Seyhan district, west of the Seyhan River and south of the Seyhan Reservoir.

The Çatalan Bridge (Turkish: Çatalan Köprüsü), also known as the West Bridge (Turkish: Batı Köprüsü), is a 1,575 m (5,167 ft) long bridge crossing the Seyhan Dam Lake in Adana, Turkey. The bridge connects the city of Adana to the villages and vacation homes north of the lake. Despite crossing the Seyhan Dam Lake, the bridge is named after the Çatalan Dam, which is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) north and the next dam upstream on the Seyhan River. The Çatalan bridge was the longest bridge in Turkey from its construction in 1998 to 2007, when it was surpassed by Viaduct No. 1 near Bolu and the longest bridge crossing a body of water until 2016, when it was surpassed by the Osman Gazi Bridge near Gebze. Construction was started in 1998 by a consortium of three companies: Lurgi Bamag, STFA and ALKE. The bridge opened to traffic on 17 June 2002.

Yüzüncüyıl (also: 100. Yıl, formerly: Kireçocağı) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Çukurova, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 45,476 (2022). Before 2008, it was part of the district of Seyhan.

Adanaspor Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club based in Adana; currently, they play in the TFF First League. The club was founded in 1954 by middle-class merchants and artisans in response to their perceived alienation within the city's then most popular club, Adana Demirspor, who were supported by workers, financed by landowners, and governed by TCDD staff. The two clubs first played against each other in 1956, with the match becoming known as the Adana derby. Both clubs have fiercely competed for citywide support and domination since then, and each club's fans believe their club to be the true representation of the city of Adana. In addition, Adanaspor's home ground, Adana Stadium, is shared with their archrivals, which intesifies their matches even further. Adanaspor's jersey colors, orange and white, symbolize oranges and cotton, the main harvests of the city.Adanaspor were one of the most successful clubs of the Turkish Football League in 1970s and early 1980s. Toros Kaplanları (Taurus Tigers) were the Runners-up for the 1980-81 season, having participated at the top division for a total of 22 years. The club also competed in the UEFA Cup for three years.

Atatürk Sports Hall is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in the Çukurova district of Adana, situated just north of the Hayal Park. The arena is built by the Greater Adana Municipality and opened on 19 September 2017. Adana Demirspor A.Ş. volleyball team play their Turkish Women's Volleyball League home matches in the Atatürk Sports Hall.

Karslılar (formerly: Karslı) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Çukurova, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 5,172 (2022). Before 2008, it was part of the district of Seyhan.

Esentepe (formerly: Çakalkuyusu) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Çukurova, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 1,811 (2022). Before 2008, it was part of the district of Seyhan.

Kabasakal is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Çukurova, Adana Province, Turkey. Its population is 1,625 (2022). Before 2008, it was part of the district of Seyhan. It is at the northwest of the city of Adana, the distance between the village and the city center being only 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) and it has almost merged with the city. The city cemetery of Adana (Turkish: Kabasakal mezarlığı) is about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) west of Kabasakal.
