Ideon Science Park is a science park in Lund, Sweden that is run and sponsored by Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB, Lund University and Lund Municipality. There about 120,000 m2 (1,300,000 sq ft) of office and lab space in over ten buildings. St Ericsson, Sony, Ericsson, Axis Communications, Active Biotech and Gambro all have their development centres right beside the park, and Mblox have one of their two Swedish offices here, with the other in Stockholm. The development of Ideon came as a result of the 1970s restructuring in the Skåne business community. Ideon was founded by a collaboration between Lund University, the then Malmöhus county, Lund municipality and the business community.

The Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) or Ekonomihögskolan i Lund is a business school at Lund University in Lund, Sweden. The educational quality is certified by EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB. It was founded and financed by Holger Crafoord.

The Faculty of Engineering is one of the eight faculties at Lund University in Lund, Sweden, commonly called LTH (after its Swedish name Lunds Tekniska Högskola). LTH has (2022) about 1,500 employees and nearly 10,000 students, of which about 650 graduate annually. LTH currently offers 16 engineering programmes, 5 higher engineering programmes and 19 international master's programmes. LTH trains civil engineers, fire engineers, architects, industrial designers and doctors of technology. LTH's higher education engineering programmes take place at Campus Helsingborg. LTH also offers a unique education in risk management and professional training in food technology. Since 2010, LTH has also been responsible for the bachelor's programme for airline pilots. The civil engineering programmes were changed in autumn 2007 as a step in the Bologna process and are now 5 years long, equivalent to 300 credits. First-cycle courses are as a rule offered in Swedish, while higher-level courses are often taught in English with English literature.

Helsingkrona Nation, formally Helsingborgs-Landskrona Nation, is one of thirteen student nations at Lund University, Sweden. With 4,263 members, it is the largest of the university's nations.

MAX IV is a next-generation synchrotron radiation facility in Lund, Sweden. Its design and planning has been carried out within the Swedish national laboratory, MAX-lab, which up until 2015 operated three storage rings for synchrotron radiation research: MAX I (550 MeV, opened 1986), MAX II (1,5 GeV, opened 1997) and MAX III (700 MeV, opened 2008). MAX-lab supported about 1000 users from over 30 countries annually. The facility operated 14 beamlines with a total of 19 independent experimental stations, supporting a wide range of experimental techniques such as macromolecular crystallography, electron spectroscopy, nanolithography and production of tagged photons for photo-nuclear experiments. The facility closed on 13 December (St Lucia dagen) 2015 in preparation for MAX IV. On 27 April 2009 the Swedish Ministry of Education and Research, Swedish Research Council, Lund University, Region Skåne and Vinnova, a Swedish government funding agency, decided to fund the research center.The new laboratories, including two storage rings and a full-energy linac is situated in Brunnshög in Lund North East. The inauguration of MAX IV took place 21 June 2016, on the day of summer solstice. The larger of the two storage rings has a circumference of 528 meters, operates at 3 GeV energy, and has been optimized for high-brightness x-rays. The smaller storage ring (circumference 96 meters) is operated at 1.5 GeV energy and has been optimized for UV. There are also plans for a future expansion of the facility that would add a free-electron laser (FEL) to the facility, but is yet to be funded.There are currently 16 beamlines at the facility with 10 of them located around the 3 GeV ring, 5 around the 1.5 GeV ring and one at the linear accelerator.

Hallands Nation is the youngest of the thirteen nations at Lund university. Originally, it organised students from the Swedish province of Halland, although nowadays there is no need for members to come from any particular region.

Kristianstad Nation is one of thirteen student nations at Lund University, Sweden. The name comes from the city Kristianstad in Scania. The nation has several weekly activities such as lunch, pub, sittning, club and brunch. Food and beverage events always have student price and is very popular. Also, Nationes sports and activities group coordinates various activities such as power walks and volleyball tournament. Nations FAMN group have special events where you can be with everything from swimming to visit spääx performances. Originally, all Scanian people enrolled in the Scanian Nation (or Skånska nationen). As that nation grew, it became necessary in 1890 to split it in five parts: Lunds Nation, Malmö Nation, Helsingkrona Nation, Sydskånska Nation and Kristianstads Nation. Nowadays, however, a student's origin plays only a small part when choosing what nation to belong to. The 17th century pro-Danish Scanian partisan Snapphane is the symbol of the nation, and the Nation arms, annual festivities and other activities all bear the name Snapphane. Kristianstad was historically located in the Göinge area where the Snapphane resided.

The Västgöta Nation, colloquially known as VG's, is one of thirteen student nations at Lund University in Sweden. With its 2,812 members, it is the fifth-largest nation in Lund.

The Centre for Innovation, Research and Competence in the Learning Economy (CIRCLE) is an interdisciplinary research centre situated in Lund, Sweden. It is spanning several faculties at Lund University and Blekinge Institute of Technology. The activities cover the field of innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge creation and economic growth.

Östra Torn, roughly translated as "Eastern Tower", is an eastern city-district in the Swedish town of Lund. The Swedish singer Timbuktu was born and raised in Östra Torn.

The Department of Physics in Lund is a department that belongs to both the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. The main goals are to expand the understanding of physics, its applications and to share scientific progress to new generations. Research is conducted in most of the physics subdivisions. The department also offers courses and a Masters's degree programs in pure physics and provides physics education for the Master of Science in Engineering programs.

Norra Fäladen is a city district in Lund, Sweden. Most parts of Norra Fäladen were built during the 1960s and 1970s, when there was an extensive program for building new apartments throughout Sweden, called the Million Programme.
