Cedar Run is a 37.5-mile-long (60.4 km) tributary of the Occoquan River in the U.S. state of Virginia.

Brentsville is a Hamlet in Prince William County, Virginia, United States.

The White House in Brentsville, Virginia was built in 1822. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is also known as the Williams-Dawe House.It is significant as "the finest example of Federal, residential architecture in Brentsville, Virginia" and is probably the oldest surviving house in the village. It was first the home of a prominent widow, said to have been the first post-mistress in either Prince William County, or the State of Virginia, and is believed to have been a social gathering place. Lived in from 1941 through the 1990s by Agnes Webster and her family (rented to the John Curd family in 1959–1962) : 9 The house is a two-story Federal style gabled brick building, with double chimneys at each end. The brickwork is Flemish bond on the front and 5 course American bond in the rear.: 4 In April 2022 the house was purchased by Prince William County. Work began clearing the house in June 2022.

Brentsville Courthouse and Jail is a historic courthouse and jail located at Brentsville, Prince William County, Virginia. The courthouse was built in 1822, and is a two-story, Federal style brick building. It features a fanlight over the main entrance, within a keyed, semicircular brick arch and an octagonal-roofed, frame-built cupola. The Brentsville Jail was built about 1820, and is located 30 yards from the courthouse. It is a well-constructed, two-story, gable roofed structure. The county seat was moved to Manassas in the 1890s to the Prince William County Courthouse and the courthouse and jail were abandoned.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

It encompasses 23 contributing buildings and 2 contributing sites in the village of Brentsville platted in 1822. These include the former Brentsville Courthouse and Jail, a one-room school (1928), three churches, 11 houses, one ruins of a dwelling, a tavern square site, and 14 outbuildings.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Cornwell is an unincorporated community in Prince William County, Virginia, United States. It is located on State Route 234 (Dumfries Road) about one mile north of Canova at its intersection with Purcell Road. Though Cornwell is a named location on Mapquest, as of 2006 there is no signage at the location to indicate that the area is identified as such. This place name may no longer be in common local use. Cornwell has also been known as Big Oak.

Canova is an unincorporated community in Prince William County, Virginia. The community is located on Canova Drive, which is a former section of State Route 234 (Dumfries Road) and about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of Hoadly Road. The town consists of a church and multiple housing areas. There used to be a country store and gas station, but after SR 234 (Dumfries Road) was realigned and widened in 2005, it bypassed the town and forced it to close.

Broad Run is the terminal station for Virginia Railway Express' Manassas Line. It is located at 10637 Piper Lane in the Bristow section of unincorporated Prince William County, Virginia, United States, adjacent to Manassas Regional Airport. It has parking for 885 cars. The station is located on a siding that leads off the 2 track main line. The siding continues to a yard for the Virginia Railway Express. Amtrak's Cardinal, Crescent and Northeast Regional pass next to the station, but do not stop. The station opened in 1992 with the inauguration of the line. On March 17, 2017, the VRE Operations Board voted to expand the Broad Run station instead of an extension to Haymarket. This might include relocating the station, as well as expanding the rail yard and parking facilities. The expansion proposition crumbled after officials said it would cost too much.

The Cannon Branch Fort is a historic American Civil War fortification at 10611 Gateway Boulevard in Manassas, Virginia. Details of the exact time and circumstances of its construction are not known; it is believed to have been built by Union Army forces in 1863 or 1864 to defend the nearby railroad lines.The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is now a city park.
