Church of Saint Andrew of Morego (Italian: Chiesa di Sant'Andrea di Morego is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Genoa, in the Province of Genoa and the region of Liguria, Italy.

The Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) (in English: Italian Institute of Technology) is a scientific research centre based in Genoa (Italy, EU). Its main goal is the advancement of science, in Italy and worldwide, through projects and discoveries oriented to applications and technology. Some account IIT as the best Italian scientific research centre.In June 2016, the science journal Nature named Italian Institute of Technology among the list of the top 100 rising stars scientific institutes in the world, that is the ranking of the top 100 institutions which most improved their publication quality scores in the Nature index between 2012 and 2015, on world basis.In November 2016, the Nature Index database named IIT among the list of the top 100 scientific centres running successful international collaborations, on world basis.In February 2017, the scientific evaluation agency Anvur of Italy's Ministry of Education evaluated and ranked the Italian Institute of Technology as the top national scientific research centre for computer science-mathematics, biology, industrial engineering, psychology, and as the second national top for physics.

Bolzaneto is a quarter of the city of Genoa, in northwest Italy, and is part of the Municipality Valpolcevera of Genoa.

The church Santi Quirico e Giulitta is a church in the Genovese quarter of San Quirico, located on val Polcevera. A church at the site is first recorded by 1143. It underwent a number of reconstructions and enlargements. By the 1840s, the church nearly lay in ruins, with the roof caving in. Construction of the present Neoclassic structure and façade began in 1849; it represents the designs of the architect Angelo Scaniglia, and was consecrated in 1851. The interior frescos mainly reflect Michele Cesare Danielli who died at the young age of 32 in 1853. It is ornamented by the paintings of Giovanni Mola. Further decoration was by Camillo Torsegno in 1870. The wooden statues of the titular saints at the altar, were produced by Giuseppe Rungaldier. Among the remnants of the older temple, is a small tempietto made of marble on the main altar. It also contains canvases of St Clair in adoration of the Holy Sacrament by Giovanni Andrea Carlone, St Felice Bishop celebrates Mass by Giovanni Andrea de Ferrari, Extasis of St. Theresa of Avila by Domenico Piola e St Ursula and the Virgins and the Holy Family by Domenico Fiasella.

The Giardino Botanico Montano di Pratorondanino is a nature preserve and botanical garden located at 750 meters altitude in Pratorondanino, Campo Ligure, Province of Genoa, Liguria, Italy. It is open during the warmer months.

Forte Sperone is a fortification included in the "New Walls" built to defend the Italian city of Genoa, located on top of Mount Peralto. The union of two walls, one on the side of Val Polcevera and the other on the side of Val Bisagno, gives the fort the appearance of the bow of a ship, from which its name derives. Due to its dominant position, it was one of the most important structures of the fortifications of Genoa.

Val Polcevera is one of the main valleys crossing Genoa, taking its name from the eponymous river. It is one of two valleys bordering the historic core of the city, along with Val Bisagno.

Sant'Olcese (Ligurian: Sant'Orçeise) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,945 and an area of 21.9 square kilometres (8.5 sq mi).The municipality of Sant'Olcese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Manesseno, Comago, Arvigo, Torrazza, Casanova, Trensasco, Piccarello, and Vicomorasso. At Comago, the Comune holds the Park & c. 1850 Victorian English country house, the Villa Serra. This house, built by the Marquis F. Orso Serra, an Anglophile, is one of very few Victorian period English country house designs to be found in Italy. The Park is a member of the Great Gardens of Italy Foundation (Grandi Giardini Italiani) and is open to the public. Sant'Olcese borders the following municipalities: Genoa, Montoggio, Serra Riccò.

Brin is a Genoa Metro station. It is situated along Via Benedetto Brin in the neighbourhood of Certosa in Rivarolo Ligure, a suburban area in the north-western outskirts of Genoa, Italy. The station, currently the terminus of the line, is located just west of the outlet of the tunnel from Dinegro station. It is built on a viaduct, designed to extend the line to the north, towards a new station. It is the only station above ground. Designed by architect Renzo Piano, the station's official opening took place on 13 June 1990, and along with Dinegro became one of the first operational stations.
