Navesink Highlands

The Monmouth Tract, also known as the Monmouth Patent, Navesink Tract or Navesink Patent was a large triangular tract of land granted as a land patent to settlers of New Jersey during the early American colonial period.

Navesink (, NAY-və-sink) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) within Middletown Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,020.

Locust (also known as Locust Point) is an unincorporated community located within Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is situated along the north banks of the Navesink River and Claypit Creek. The area consists of mostly medium-to-large sized houses throughout the hilly terrain of this part of the township. The Oceanic Bridge connects Locust with Rumson to the south.

All Saints' Memorial Church is a small stone Gothic-style Episcopal church built in 1864 by Richard Upjohn in Navesink, New Jersey. A National Historic Landmark, the church complex, which includes the rectory, stable, and carriage house, is a well-preserved example of the late work of Upjohn.

Stone Church is an unincorporated community located in Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, within the census-designated place of Navesink. The settlement is located at the intersection of Valley Road and Locust Avenue (County Route 8A), Navesink Avenue (CR 8B), and Monmouth Avenue. In the center of the community, the historic All Saint's Memorial Episcopal Church built in 1864 sits at the main intersection. The remainder of the area consists of single-family houses and forests on the slopes of nearby Mount Mitchill.

Mother Teresa Regional School (MTRS) was a Catholic school, which offered grades pre-K to eighth, in the Diocese of Trenton in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, USA. The principal was Tom Sorci before the school's closure. MTRS offered many sports programs and encouraged student participation in the variety of in-school and after school groups and clubs. The school year was broken down into three trimesters.

Atlantic Highlands is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in the Bayshore Region. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,385, a decline of 320 (−6.8%) from the 4,705 in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 76 (+1.6%) from the 4,629 in the 1990 Census.Atlantic Highlands contains Mount Mitchill, the highest point on the eastern seaboard south of Maine, rising 266 feet (81 m) above sea level. The borough's name comes from its location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.Atlantic Highlands was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 28, 1887, from portions of Middletown Township, based on the results of a referendum held that day. The Navesink River is an estuary, approximately 8 mi (12 km) long in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is surrounded by the communities of Middletown, Red Bank, Fair Haven and Rumson. Known officially as the North Shrewsbury River and upstream of Red Bank as the Swimming River, it is formed southwest of Red Bank by the confluence of the Swimming River with several smaller streams. It extends ENE along the north side of Red Bank, connecting to the Shrewsbury River estuary at Rumson, approximately 1 mi (1.6 km) south of the entrance of the Shrewsbury River into Sandy Hook Bay near Highlands.
