Schwelm station

Schwelm West station is a through station in the town of Schwelm in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The station was opened on 29 May 1988 on a section of the Elberfeld–Dortmund railway from Döppersberg, near the current Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof, to Schwelm that was opened by the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company on 9 October 1847. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station.The station is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 8 between Mönchengladbach and Hagen and line S 9 between Recklinghausen and Hagen, both every 60 minutes.

Langerfeld is a borough of the German city of Wuppertal. On 24 June 2018, an explosion in the area damaged an apartment complex and surroundings. The blast was powerful and destroyed the three top floors of the block, and also destroying a parked car. The impact caused fires inside the building. Twenty-five people were injured, five of them seriously. The explosion's cause is unknown and still under investigation.

Sondern is a village and subdistrict approximately 15.4 kilometres (9.6 mi) by road south-south east of Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Situated near Beyenburger, it is situated in a valley between the rivers of Herbringhauser Bachs, the Wupper and the Lohmühlenbachs. The national road 411 descends to Beyenburger bridge. The Dynamit Nobel AG explosives factory was in the vicinity, which passed after the First World War to the Pyros Fireworks Company. In the 1920s, the factory was destroyed by fire and never rebuilt. In the northwestern part of the village is the Turn-Sport-Verein Beyenburg 1945 e.V sports club.

The Alte Kirche (Old Church) is a Protestant church in the district Langerfeld of Wuppertal. It is one of two churches of the Protestant congregation Langerfeld and is located between the Odoakerstraße (Odoacer street) and the Schwelmer Straße (Schwelm street). It was built from 1768 to 1786; the first service took place on 24 September 1786, and was celebrated to the memory of Frederick II of Prussia.In 2015, when the congregation celebrated her 250th jubilee, the church was redeveloped Inside and Outside extensively.

It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station.The station is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 8 between Mönchengladbach and Hagen and line S 9 between Recklinghausen and Hagen, both every 60 minutes.

The station was opened in 1948 on a section of the Elberfeld–Dortmund railway from Döppersberg, near the current Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof, to Schwelm that was opened by the Bergisch-Märkische Railway Company on 9 October 1847. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station.The station is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn lines S 8 between Mönchengladbach and Hagen and S 9 between Recklinghausen and Hagen twice an hour (30 minutes alternatively).It is also served by bus route 606 operated by Wuppertaler Stadtwerke every 60 minutes.
