IPS'AIR is a French airshow started in 2020. It is located in Ivry-sur-Seine, close to Paris. It is organized by the grande école Institut polytechnique des sciences avancées, one of the most important aerospace College in France. It is held yearly in February. The 4th edition took place from the 9 to the 21st of February 2023.

Charenton-le-Pont (French pronunciation: [ʃaʁɑ̃tɔ̃ lə pɔ̃] (listen)) is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. The Château de Bercy was a Louis XIII château located in Bercy, a part of modern-day Charenton-le-Pont in Paris, France.

Liberté (French pronunciation: [libɛʁte] (listen)) is a station on line 8 of the Paris Métro in the commune of Charenton-le-Pont. The station opened on 5 October 1942 with the extension of the line from Porte de Charenton to the Charenton - Écoles. It is named after the Avenue de la Liberté ("Liberty Avenue"), which runs above the station. Nearby are the Pelouse de Reuilly and the Vélodrome Jacques Anquetil in the Bois de Vincennes.

It was established in 2009 in Ivry-sur-Seine.The school offers a Master of Business Administration recognized by French government and teaches both technical and management aspects.A special feature of the school is to admit students holder of a Bachelor, a Master or a Ph.D.

The Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA), (English: Institute of Polytechnic Science and Aeronautics) is a French private grande école in aerospace engineering located at Ivry-sur-Seine, Lyon and Toulouse, recognized by the French state since 2010, whose diploma has been accredited by the French Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur since 2011. It was founded in 1961 and has been part of IONIS Education Group since 1998.

Ivry-sur-Seine is a station in Paris' express suburban rail system, the RER. It is situated on the Paris–Bordeaux railway. The station is situated in the eastern side of Ivry-sur-Seine, in Val-de-Marne. Travelers can take RATP bus 125 and 323 to connect between this station and Mairie d'Ivry on Paris Métro Line 7.

Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. The Pont Amont (French for "upriver bridge") is a bridge in Paris which carries the Boulevard Périphérique (Paris' inner ring road) over the Seine River. Entirely dedicated to motor traffic, it is the first bridge to be seen when following the Seine downstream into Paris. The bridge links the 12th and 13th arrondissements, near the Quai d'Ivry and the Quai de Bercy. The bridge being 270 m long, it is the second longest bridge in Paris, after its downstream counterpart, the Pont Aval, which also carries the Périphérique. Inaugurated in 1969, it has not been given an official name : its current designation (Pont Amont) is, much like for the Pont Aval, completely unofficial.

The Marne (French pronunciation: [maʁn] (listen)) is a river in France, an eastern tributary of the Seine in the area east and southeast of Paris. It is 514 kilometres (319 mi) long. The river gave its name to the departments of Haute-Marne, Marne, Seine-et-Marne, and Val-de-Marne. The Marne starts in the Langres plateau, runs generally north then bends west between Saint-Dizier and Châlons-en-Champagne, joining the Seine at Charenton just upstream from Paris. Its main tributaries are the Rognon, the Blaise, the Saulx, the Ourcq, the Petit Morin and the Grand Morin. Near the town of Saint-Dizier, part of the flow is diverted through the artificial Lake Der-Chantecoq. This ensures both flood prevention and the maintenance of minimum river flows in periods of drought.The Celts of Gaul worshipped a goddess known as Dea Matrona ("divine mother goddess") who was associated with the Marne. The Marne is famous as the site of two eponymous battles during World War I. The first battle was a turning point of the war, fought in 1914. The second battle was fought four years later, in 1918.

Porte de Charenton (French pronunciation: ​[pɔʁt də ʃaʁɑ̃tɔ̃]) is a station on line 8 of the Paris Métro. The station opened on 5 May 1931 with the extension of the line from Richelieu - Drouot for the Paris Colonial Exposition, held in the nearby Bois de Vincennes. It was the southeastern terminus of the line until its extension to Charenton - Écoles on 5 October 1942. It is named after the Porte de Charenton, a gate in the nineteenth century Thiers wall of Paris on the road to Charenton-le-Pont. An interchange with Paris tramway Line 3a opened on 15 December 2012. The nearby Pelouse de Reuilly (part of the Bois de Vincennes) is the location of the Foire du Trone funfair in April and May.
