Shiloh is an unincorporated community in Hampshire County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Shiloh is located on Gore Road (West Virginia Secondary Route 23/11) near the Virginia line. Shiloh was once a stop on the old Winchester and Western Railroad. The community was named for Shiloh, a site mentioned in the Hebrew Bible that contained the Ark of the Covenant.

Rock Enon Springs is located 18 miles west of Winchester on Rock Enon Springs Road (VA 683) off Back Creek Road (VA 704) south of Gore. The community was known for its Rock Enon Springs Resort, which was sold in 1945 and is now owned by the Boy Scouts as Camp Rock Enon. Rock Enon Springs had a station along the Winchester and Western Railroad until the 1930s, when the railroad was shortened to Gore.

The U.S. Census Bureau defines it as a census-designated place (listed as Shawneeland), with a population of 1,873 as of 2010. In its past, Shawnee Land was a ski resort, with a number of slopes located on the eastern side of Great North Mountain. Shawnee Land thrived for a few years, but eventually the investors abandoned the project and the ski slopes were closed.

Sunrise, also known as Muse House, is a historic home located near Gore, Frederick County, Virginia. It is a two-story, log and frame farmhouse in the Greek Revival style. The original section was built in 1818, with additions and modifications made around 1850, and around 1905. The main section measures approximately 18 feet by 39 feet and features a two-story, two-level, five bay, front porch and exterior fieldstone end chimney. Also on the property are the contributing meathouse and two barns. The house is bordered by fields, forest and apple, peach and cherry orchards.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
