Brühl (pronounced [bʁyːl] (listen)) is a town in the Rhineland, Germany. It is located in the district of Rhine-Erft, 20 km south of the Cologne city center and at the edge of the Rhineland Nature Park, a famous nature reserve.

The Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces form a historical building complex in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The buildings are connected by the spacious gardens and trees of the Schlosspark. Built in the early 18th century, the palaces and adjoining gardens are considered masterpieces of early rococo architecture and have been listed as a UNESCO cultural World Heritage Site since 1984. Augustusburg Palace (German: Schloss Augustusburg) and its parks also serve as a venue for the Brühl Palace Concerts.

The Schlosspark (Palace park) is the park of Schloss Augustusburg, a Baroque palace in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The garden was first designed in Baroque style by Dominique Girard, and established in 1728. It was partly changed to English landscape style during the 19th century. In the 1930s, the original design was restored. It is now a public park. The complete ensemble of palaces and gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Brühl station is a railway station in the city of Brühl in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It consists of a passenger station and a freight yard about a kilometre to the north. Both parts of the station are on the Left Rhine line (German: Linke Rheinstrecke); the freight yard also has a connection via Brühl-Vochem to the Cologne port and freight railway network (Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln AG, HGK).

The Brühl train derailment happened on 6 February 2000 at Brühl, railway station on the West Rhine railway. A train negotiated a low speed turnout at three times the correct speed and derailed, killing 9 people.

Bleibtreusee is a lake in Rhein-Erft-Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. At an elevation of its surface area is 37.8 ha. North of Bleibtreusee, there is an electricity pylon, which carried from 1977 to 2010 an observation deck.

It is located in the south-west of that state and covers the hills of the Eifel as well as the Bergisches Land. It was created in 1815, when Prussia reorganised its internal administration. In 1972 the Regierungsbezirk Aachen was incorporated.

Crazy Bats, formerly Space Center and Temple of the Night Hawk is an enclosed roller coaster located at Phantasialand.

Raik is a boomerang steel roller coaster manufactured by Vekoma located at Phantasialand in Germany. Raik opened on 30 June 2016 alongside neighbouring roller coaster Taron, a multi-launch steel roller coaster. The ride is situated in the 'Klugheim' area of the theme park, a mythical village reflecting Old Norse cultures. The coaster sits in a canyon of basalt rock at the edge of the village. Also within the canyon is a new-for-2016. Klugheim replaced the former Silver City themed area of the park.

Taron is a multilaunch steel roller coaster manufactured by Intamin located at Phantasialand in Germany. It was the fastest multi-launched roller coaster in the world when it opened. Taron opened on 30 June 2016. The ride is situated in the 'Klugheim' area of the theme park, a mythical village reflecting Old Norse cultures. The coaster sits in a canyon of basalt rock at the edge of the village. Also within the canyon is a new-for-2016 Family Boomerang roller coaster called Raik. Klugheim replaced the former Silver City themed area of the park.

Phantasialand is a theme park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that attracts approximately 2 million visitors annually. The park was opened in 1967 by Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Richard Schmidt. Although starting as a family-oriented park, Phantasialand has also added thrill rides, especially during recent years. Furthermore, following the example of Europa-Park, they have decided to attract business customers beside the regular ones, calling it "Business to Pleasure".Phantasialand is known for its high attention to detail in its theming and introduces new attractions more often compared to other theme parks to compensate for its small area and regularly is voted one of the best parks in the world.Among the park's thrill rides is Taron (the world's fastest multi-launch coaster), Black Mamba (a Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster) and a themed Mine Train roller coaster called Colorado Adventure, which runs among some mountains in the park's Wild West section and was opened by Michael Jackson.

F.L.Y. (often stylized as Flying Launch Coaster or simply FLY) is a flying launched roller coaster at Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany. The coaster is the sole attraction of the Rookburgh area, a highly themed immersive Steampunk city, which was soft opened in September 2020 following several years of development and construction. During the ride, passengers sit in a prone position - facing the ground - while traversing two launches and navigating a heavily themed environment. FLY was manufactured by Vekoma and features a completely redesigned set of flying coaster hardware unique to the coaster. Upon opening, it became the world's longest flying coaster as well as the first flying launch coaster. FLY was lauded by park guests and amusement ride industry representatives alike, who praised the ride experience, thematic depth, and improved hardware.
