Lost Creek station is a historic railroad depot located at Lost Creek, Harrison County, West Virginia. It was built in 1892 by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and is a one-story, Folk Victorian frame building with board-and-batten siding. It measures 44 by 18.5 feet (13.4 m × 5.6 m). In 1923, it was the largest cattle shipping point east of the Mississippi River.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005 as the Lost Creek Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Depot.

Watters Smith Memorial State Park is a 532-acre (2.15 km2) historical park and national historic district with a pioneer homestead and museum located in Harrison County, West Virginia. The homestead, rising above Duck Creek, is a memorial to settler Watters Smith, who was born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1767, and moved to Harrison County in what was then Virginia, in 1796, with his wife Elizabeth Davisson Smith. A log cabin similar to the original was moved and reconstructed on the park, together with farm buildings typical of early 19th century settlement. The more modern Smith family home (c. 1876) has been restored as a museum, and an additional museum houses many local farm artifacts from earlier eras. Guided tours are offered from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. In addition, the park features swimming, picnicking, hiking trails, and horseback riding. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 as the Watters Smith Farm on Duck Creek.

Center Branch Wildlife Management Area is located on 975 acres (395 ha) in Harrison County near Stonewood, West Virginia. The WMA is located on a former strip mine site, and contains several flat benches and high walls. Second growth oak-hickory and mixed hardwoods forests cover much of the land. Center Branch is located along Turkey Run, a tributary of Elk Creek and the West Fork River. The main entrance is via Turkey Run Road (County Route 20/11) off West Virginia Route 20 near Stonewood.

Quiet Dell School, also known as West Virginia Mountain Products, Inc. Cooperative, is a historic school building located at Quiet Dell, near Mount Clare, Harrison County, West Virginia. The original section was built in 1922, with an addition completed in 1953. It is a wood frame, drop sided building with a hipped and gable roof. It was used as a school until 1970, after which it was occupied by Board of Education offices, a local kindergarten, and special needs classes until 1990. It was later occupied by the West Virginia Mountain Products, Inc. Cooperative.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

WPDX (750 kHz) was a Classic Country formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Clarksburg, West Virginia, serving the Clarksburg/Fairmont/Buckhannon area. WPDX was last owned by West Virginia Radio Corporation and last operated under their AJG Corporation licensee. Because it shared the same frequency as "clear channel" station WSB in Atlanta, Georgia, WPDX operated only during daytime hours.
