Marsdale, St. Catharines

Riverview is a community in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It borders Regional Road 89 to the north, Lockhart Road to the south, Marsdale Drive to the east, and the Twelve Mile Creek to the west. Glenridge is to the north, Brockview, Power Glen is to the south, Marsdale is to the east, and the Twelve Mile Creek, Power Glen is to the west.

Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, founded in 1976, is a seminary of the Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC) affiliated with Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. Its primary purpose is to educate students seeking ordination in LCC, but its graduate degree programs are open to laypeople.

Brockview is a neighbourhood in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and the home of Brock University. The community is centered at Brock University. To the north are the Niagara Escarpment and Lockhart Drive, to the west is Brock University, to the south is St. David's Road, and to the east is Highway 406.

Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre is Niagara's only specialty rehabilitation hospital, located in the south-end of St. Catharines, Ontario. Its mandate is to provide complex continuing care and rehabilitation services to patients in the city and Niagara Region. Hotel Dieu Shaver is the result of hospital restructuring in St. Catharines which saw the Hotel Dieu Health Sciences Hospital (an acute care hospital in the city's downtown) assume governance and management of the Shaver Hospital and Niagara Peninsula Rehab Centre, which were formerly managed under Niagara Health. Niagara Health assumed responsibility of the facility once occupied by the Hotel Dieu, which became known as the Ontario Street Site of Niagara Health before closing, being replaced by the St. Catharines site in the city's west end. Hotel Dieu Shaver is a stand-alone legal entity, funded by the Ministry of Health. Hotel Dieu Shaver is not part of the Niagara Health System, although works closely with the acute hospital sites.

The Goodman School of Business (colloquially referred to as Goodman) is the business school of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The business school offers programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level of study. The Goodman School of Business is among the top five per cent of business schools worldwide to attain accreditation by the AACSB as well as membership in Beta Gamma Sigma.On October 12, 2012 Brock announced that its Faculty of Business was being renamed as the Goodman School of Business. The School is named after the family of Ned Goodman, the businessman and investment expert, who provided the University with a transformational gift to the school.

Brock University is a public research university in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is the only university in Canada in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, at the centre of Canada's Niagara Peninsula on the Niagara Escarpment. The university bears the name of Maj.-General Sir Isaac Brock, who was responsible for defending Upper Canada against the United States during the War of 1812. Brock offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including professional degrees. Brock was ranked third among Canadian universities in the undergraduate category for research publication output and impact indicators in 2008 (the most recent ranking completed). Brock University is the only school in Canada and internationally to offer the MICA (Mathematics Integrated with Computing and Applications) program. Glenridge is a community in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the south part of the city, spanning the downtown in the north to Glendale Avenue in the south. On the east side, it is bounded by Highway 406 and the 12 Mile Creek on the west. Old Glen Ridge, in the Northern portion of the community, is home to many historic Tudor-style houses on large lots. Burgoyne Woods, St. Catharines' largest municipal park, is located in the east end of the community near the historic routing of the Welland Canal. The portion of the community south of the CN Rail tracks, along with Riverview and Marsdale, is home to many Brock University faculty and students.

The DSBN Academy, less formally known as The Academy is a public high school and middle school (grades 6-12) in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is located on Louth Street and is part of the District School Board of Niagara. The DSBN Academy accepts students from anywhere in the Niagara Region. The school's program is designed to provide additional academic support for students from low-income backgrounds to better prepare them for post-secondary education.

Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School is a Canadian secondary school located in St. Catharines, Ontario. It is one of eight public secondary schools in the city, and is situated in the community of Glenridge. The secondary school is known for their competitive sports, extremely strong academics, arts, their bulldog mascot and extensive list of extracurriculars. It is administered by the District School Board of Niagara.

It borders highway 406 to the north, Regional Road 72 to the south, the Twelve Mile Creek to the east, and Louth St to the west,. Bordering neighborhoods are Vansickle to the west, Downtown and Martindale to the north, Glenridge to the east, and Power Glen to the south.

St. Catharines station is a railway station in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is served by the Maple Leaf train between Toronto and New York City and is a stop on the Lakeshore West line of GO Transit. The station is a designated Heritage Railway Station.
