Atco Lake

West Atco is an unincorporated community located within Winslow Township in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. One of Winslow Township's many parks is West Atco Park, a 1-acre (4,000 m2) public park located in the community that includes a playground, baseball field and basketball court.

Atco is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Waterford Township in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is part of the Philadelphia-Camden metropolitan area, located 16 miles (26 km) southeast of Camden. Though generally considered part of Waterford Township, a small section of the southern edge of Atco is located in Winslow Township.Atco was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census with a population of 9,058.Atco was the home of the Atco Raceway, and served as the location for the movie Eddie and the Cruisers. In 2005, an episode of Viva La Bam was shot at the raceway. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08004.

Amalthea Cellars ( AM-əl-THEE-ə) is a winery in the West Atco section of Winslow in Camden County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 1976, and opened to the public in 1981. Amalthea has 10 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 5,000 cases of wine per year. The winery is named after Amalthea, a moon of Jupiter, reflecting the owner's scientific background and love of mythology.

The Winslow Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Winslow Township, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The district operates four elementary schools (grades PreK-3), two upper elementary schools (grades 4-6), one middle school (grades 7-8) and one high school (grades 9-12). As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising eight schools, had an enrollment of 4,650 students and 456.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.2:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. Foster Elementary School until the completion of the 2008-09 school year, after which the district was no longer operating any schools and began sending all of its students to the Winslow Township district as part of an expansion of the pre-existing sending/receiving relationship that commenced in the 2009-10 school year.

The Grant A.M.E. Church was a historic church at 4th and Washington Street in Chesilhurst of Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1896 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 5, 1977, for its significance in religion and social history.

Winslow Township High School (WTHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school in the Atco section of Winslow Township, in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Winslow Township School District. Until 2000, the facility that is now Winslow Township High School was part of the Lower Camden County Regional School District and was known as Edgewood Regional High School, which was the sister school of Overbook Regional Senior High School in Pine Hill (now known as Overbrook High School). Students from Chesilhurst, a non-operating district, attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Chesilhurst Borough School District.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,229 students and 114.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.7:1. There were 434 students (35.3% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 55 (4.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Edgewood Regional High School is the original name of Winslow Township High School that opened in 1958. Though the mailing address of the school was Atco, the site actually resided in the Tansboro section of Winslow Township, in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school's name changed in 2001 due to the breakup of the Lower Camden County Regional School District (L.C.C.R.H.S.) which consisted of Edgewood and Overbrook Regional High School. The buildings were turned over to the Winslow Township School District and became Winslow Township High School. Likewise Overbrook dropped the "regional" part of its name and became Overbrook High School (part of the Pine Hill Schools). At the time of the district dissolution, Edgewood was receiving students from Winslow Township, Waterford Township and Chesilhurst. Waterford Township reached an agreement with Hammonton to send its students to Hammonton High School rather than the newly renamed Winslow Township High School.

Chesilhurst is a borough in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,536, a decrease of 98 (−6.0%) from the 2010 census count of 1,634, which in turn reflected an increase of 114 (+7.5%) from the 1,520 counted in the 2000 census.Chesilhurst was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on November 26, 1887, from portions of Waterford Township and Winslow Township, based on the results of a referendum held on October 18, 1887.New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Chesilhurst the worst town in the state in its 2008 rankings of "Best Places to Live" in New Jersey (placing at # 566 of 566).

Atco station is a train station in Atco, New Jersey on the Atlantic City Line. It serves NJ Transit trains, and the local 554 bus route. Eastbound service is offered to Atlantic City and Westbound service is offered to Philadelphia. The station is near the site of what used to be a National Amusements Multiplex Cinema and the Atco Dragway, member facility of the National Hot Rod Association. The station is accessible from Route 73 and the White Horse Pike (U.S. Route 30).

Tansboro is an unincorporated community located within Winslow Township in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.Edgewood Regional High School was a high school located in Tansboro. It opened in 1958 and was renamed Winslow Township High School in 2001. Some major roads in and around Tansboro include County Route 561, Route 73, and U.S. Route 30.

The 1922 Winslow Junction train derailment was a July 2, 1922 accident on Atlantic City Railroad's Camden to Atlantic City route. Train № 33 the Owl going 90 miles (140 km) per hour sped through an open switch at Winslow Junction. 7 were killed, 89 were injured.
