Tabler's Station Historic District

Tabler Station is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. It lies on County Route 32, south of Martinsburg off U.S. Route 11 near Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport. The community most likely was named after the local Tabler family. The Tabler's Station Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport (IATA: MRB, ICAO: KMRB, FAA LID: MRB), also known as Shepherd Field, is a civilian-owned, public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) south of the central business district of Martinsburg, a city in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. It is owned by the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority or EWVRAA. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, in which the Federal Aviation Administration categorized it as a reliever airport.The airport is mostly used for general aviation. The airport authority’s fixed base operator, MRB Aviation offers many services including Air Charter, Aircraft Management, Flight Training (with partner Bravo Flight Training), Aircraft Maintenance, Fuel Sales and Hangar Rentals. The EWVRAA has entered into a joint-use agreement with the West Virginia Air National Guard's 167th Airlift Wing (167 AW), having a presence since 1955 at the adjacent Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base. The 167 AW is an Air Mobility Command (AMC)-gained unit which began operating the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in January 2015. Prior to receiving the C-17, the airport had hosted a fleet of larger Lockheed C-5A Galaxy transport aircraft since 2007. Beginning in July 2006 and running through the fall of 2012, the airport underwent a major improvement program which included the removal of the secondary runway 17/35, an expansion to the primary runway 08/26, and the construction of larger parking areas needed to accommodate the C-5A Galaxy aircraft. This project also included the addition of a new Air Traffic Control tower, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting station, and hangars for the C-5As, as the existing hangars designed to house the Lockheed C-130H Hercules were grossly inadequate considering the size of the larger plane. Also in this time period was the construction of a new entrance to the base, three 80,000-square-foot hangars with a maintenance mall, base supply, operations facility, simulator facility, fuel facility and tank farm.In previous decades, the WVANG also flew many other aircraft types including the F-51 Mustang and F-86 Sabre fighters. The 167th Airlift Wing held an open house in conjunction with the Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Air Show on September 4 and 5, 2010. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Army Parachute Team attended the show which drew a crowd of more than 80,000 people.

Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base is the home base of the West Virginia Air National Guard 167th Airlift Wing located at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport, 4 miles south of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Pikeside is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. Pikeside is situated along U.S. Route 11, approximately 3.4 miles south of Martinsburg. The community was named for a turnpike near the original town site.

Elias Pitzer House is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1856 and is an L-shaped, two-story, brick Greek Revival-style dwelling. It is five bays wide and has a gable roof. The front entry features a one-story, one-bay, Greek Revival-style portico.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Union Bryarly's Mill is a historic flour and grist mill complex and national historic district located at Darkesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia, USA. It encompasses four contributing buildings and two contributing sites. The buildings are the Bryarly Mill, Mansion House, a log smokehouse and combination ice house building, the log miller's house (1751), the site of a distillery and foundation containing archaeological remains. The mill was built about 1835 and is a two-story, three-bay brick building with a gable roof. The Mansion House was built about 1835 and is a two-story, L-shaped frame dwelling on a stone foundation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Vanville is an unincorporated community in the south-east portion of Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. The center of the community of Vanville is at the intersection of Airport Rd, Strobridge Rd, Near Bethel's Way, and Classic Vanville Rd. The community is named after the Vanville Church of Christ. The church is located on the corner of Classic Vanville Rd and Airport Rd. Part of the Eastern WV Regional Airport is located in Vanville.

John Evans House, also known as Big Spring Farm, is located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is a public community college in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Formerly the Community and Technical College of Shepherd, it was part of Shepherd College until March 2005, when it was accredited as an independent institution. One year later it was officially renamed Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. Blue Ridge CTC has over 40 collegiate level associate degree and certificate programs, and workforce development and training.

Grubbs Corner is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States.

Lee–Throckmorton–McDonald House, also known as "Rural Hill," is a historic home located near Inwood, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was originally built in 1810 as a log home and substantially enlarged in 1880. It was enlarged again in 1939 and sheathed in a limestone veneer. The front entrance features a pedimented portico. A rear kitchen wing was added in 1981. It was originally built as the miller's house for a grist mill that is no longer extant.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
