The Continental Clay Brick Plant in Martinsburg, West Virginia includes a number of beehive brick kilns. Originally a coal-fired brickworks, it was later converted to natural gas. The kilns are now largely disused, except for a few used to dry sand.

George W. F. Mulliss House, also known as "Hartwood'" is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1929 and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, neo-Georgian Revival-style dwelling built of limestone reinforced with steel. It measures 97 feet wide and 39 feet deep, and consists of a seven bay central block with wings. Also on the property is a three bay, 1+1⁄2-story garage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Pikeside is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. Pikeside is situated along U.S. Route 11, approximately 3.4 miles south of Martinsburg. The community was named for a turnpike near the original town site.

The Abell-Kilbourne House in Martinsburg, West Virginia is associated with John N. Abell, a prominent Martinsburg businessman and Charles W. Kilbourn, a Martinsburg mill owner. The former president of the Old National Bank, Abell developed the area known as "Abell's Addition" after his retirement in 1886. At that time Abell lived at 506 West Burke Street.

Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base is the home base of the West Virginia Air National Guard 167th Airlift Wing located at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport, 4 miles south of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport (IATA: MRB, ICAO: KMRB, FAA LID: MRB), also known as Shepherd Field, is a civilian-owned, public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) south of the central business district of Martinsburg, a city in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. It is owned by the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority or EWVRAA. This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, in which the Federal Aviation Administration categorized it as a reliever airport.The airport is mostly used for general aviation. The airport authority’s fixed base operator, MRB Aviation offers many services including Air Charter, Aircraft Management, Flight Training (with partner Bravo Flight Training), Aircraft Maintenance, Fuel Sales and Hangar Rentals. The EWVRAA has entered into a joint-use agreement with the West Virginia Air National Guard's 167th Airlift Wing (167 AW), having a presence since 1955 at the adjacent Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base. The 167 AW is an Air Mobility Command (AMC)-gained unit which began operating the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft in January 2015. Prior to receiving the C-17, the airport had hosted a fleet of larger Lockheed C-5A Galaxy transport aircraft since 2007. Beginning in July 2006 and running through the fall of 2012, the airport underwent a major improvement program which included the removal of the secondary runway 17/35, an expansion to the primary runway 08/26, and the construction of larger parking areas needed to accommodate the C-5A Galaxy aircraft. This project also included the addition of a new Air Traffic Control tower, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting station, and hangars for the C-5As, as the existing hangars designed to house the Lockheed C-130H Hercules were grossly inadequate considering the size of the larger plane. Also in this time period was the construction of a new entrance to the base, three 80,000-square-foot hangars with a maintenance mall, base supply, operations facility, simulator facility, fuel facility and tank farm.In previous decades, the WVANG also flew many other aircraft types including the F-51 Mustang and F-86 Sabre fighters. The 167th Airlift Wing held an open house in conjunction with the Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Air Show on September 4 and 5, 2010. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Army Parachute Team attended the show which drew a crowd of more than 80,000 people.

Martinsburg Mining, Manufacturing & Improvement Co. Historic District is a national historic district located at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses 289 contributing buildings located within 19 city blocks and built between 1891 and 1952. It includes a residential area developed by the Martinsburg Mining, Manufacturing & Improvement Co. as worker housing. They are one to 2+1⁄2-story, single family, detached, semi-detached, and multi-unit housing built in wood frame, brick or brick veneer, and concrete block. Also located in the district is the Gothic Revival-style St. Luke's United Methodist Church. It includes examples of vernacular interpretations of popular architectural styles including Queen Anne, American Four Square, and Bungalow styles.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Boydville is a late Georgian style mansion in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The house is near the center of the associated Boydville Historic District in 15.35 acres (6.21 ha). The house was built in 1812 by Elisha Boyd, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates and an officer of the Fourth Virginia Regiment in the War of 1812. The two story stucco-covered stone house consists of a center wing with nine rooms, a right wing that originally served as the nursery, and a left wing that housed the kitchens. The center-hall main house retains its original woodwork, with hand-carved door frames and mantelpieces imported from England. Interior partitions are brick covered with plaster.Elisha Boyd left the house to his daughter Mary at his death in 1841. Mary was married to Charles J. Faulkner I (1806–1884), was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates who advocated a gradual abolition of slavery and the forcible annexation of Texas from Mexico. Faulkner served as ambassador to France in the James Buchanan administration, 1859–1861. Faulkner was Stonewall Jackson's assistant adjutant-general during the American Civil War, and was temporary president of the West Virginia Constitutional Convention of 1872. Faulkner's son, Charles J. Faulkner II (1847–1929) became a United States senator.During the American Civil War Boydville and two other houses were marked for burning by General David Hunter in retaliation for the burning of Maryland Governor Bradford's house. On an hour's notice Mary Faulkner obtained an exemption from Abraham Lincoln, saving the house.Boydville was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
