The Museum of Soviet occupation (Ukrainian: Музей радянської окупації, Muzei radianskoi okupatsii) in Kyiv, Ukraine, is devoted to portraying the crimes of the Soviet regime in Ukraine from 1917 to 1991. It was established in November 2001 by the Vasyl Stus branch of Memorial Society as an exhibition "Not to be forgotten: The Chronicle of Communist inquisition." Between 2001 and 2007, the exposition grew into a full-fledged museum. On May 30, 2007, it received its current name.

Holosiivska (Ukrainian: Голосіївська, ) is the second station on the Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line's Holosiiv-Teremky extension. It opened on 15 December 2010. The station is situated in the Holosiiv Raion near the Holosiivska Square. The station was due to open late 2008, and that opening was later rescheduled by Metro authorities to March 2009. It was again postponed to Independence Day August 2009. A trial run of a train took place on 5 November. Finally the extension opened on 15 December 2010.

Holosiivska Square (Ukrainian: Голосіївська площа) is one of the squares of Kyiv, Ukraine. Located in the historical area Demiivka (southern Kyiv), emerged in the XIXth century and till 1961 was unnamed when it has received current name.The square is an intersection of the streets Holosiivska, Vasylkivska and Maxima Rylskoho and avenue Holosiivskyi on the road from downtown to Odesa.The station Holosiivska of Kyiv Metro was opened on the square in 2010.

Maxym Rylsky Museum (officially known as Kyiv Literary and Memorial Museum of Maxym Rylsky Ukrainian: Київський літературно-меморіальний музей Максима Рильського) is one of the museums in Kyiv, Ukraine, dedicated to Ukrainian poet Maksym Rylsky. It was founded on May 4, 1966, and was opened for visitors 2 years later. The museum is located at the house where the poet lived for the last 13 years of his life. The museum exposition includes a collection of poet's manuscripts, a memorial library numbering nearly 10,000 volumes, personal belongings, and art samples from the period 1940–1960s. The museum survived 3-time reexposition (1968, 1985, 2006).

Evangel Theological University (ETU) (Formerly Evangel Theological Seminary) is an evangelical theological seminary based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Vasylkivska (Ukrainian: Васильківська, ) is station on Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line. It is named after the street which leads to Vasylkiv, south-west to capital Kyiv. The station was opened on 15 December 2010.

Holosiivskyi District (Ukrainian: Голосіївський район, translit. Holosiivskyi raion) is an urban district of the city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Holosiivskyi District was created during changing of administrative divisions of the capital of Ukraine, which was conducted in September 2001, as per the decision of the Kyiv City Council on January 1, 2001. Holosiivskyi District is located in the southwestern part of Kyiv, bordering Shevchenkivskyi, Solomianskyi, Pecherskyi, and Darnytskyi districts of Kyiv, and Bucha, Obukhiv, and Boryspil raions of Kyiv Oblast. The territory of the raion begins from the famous Khreshchatyk street and stretches toward the southwest of Kyiv. Considering this, the raion is somewhat like the southwest entrance into the city. The raion consists of the following historical neighborhoods of Kyiv: Pankivshchyna, Predslavyno, Yamky, Saperna Slobidka, Baikovo, Zabaikove, Demiivka, Shyrma, Tsymbalov Yar, Dobryi Put, Holosiiv, Feofaniya, Lysa Hora, Bahrynova Hora, Myshelovka, Samburky, Kytaevo, Pyrohiv, Tserkovshchyna, Nyzhnia Telychka, Korchevate, Vyta, Teremky, and Vodnykiv Island.

The Institute of Physics (IOP) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Інститут фізики Національної академії наук України) founded in 1926 is the oldest research institution of physical science within the academy. Being on the path of both infrastructure development and research diversification for more than 80 years, the institute has eventually originated five more specialized research institutions. Currently, the institute employs more than 300 researchers (together with two full members and eight corresponding members of the NASU) and around 200 peoples of supporting personnel. It has more than 20 scientific units (including the state-of-the-art Femtosecond Laser Complex) which are grouped around four research programs Traditionally, the institute is focused on fundamental research. At the same time, applied research on cryogenics, LC displays, laser systems, pyroelectric detectors, biophysics and plasma technologies strengthen the institute's activities. The IOP is consistently ranked at the top of national academic institutions ranking. Besides, international reputation of IOP is growing constantly as prominent scientists from the Institute expand their activity to leading foreign research centers and universities.

Demiivska (Ukrainian: Демiïвська, ) is the first station on Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska Line's Holosiiv-Teremky extension opened on 15 December 2010. It is situated on the "Holosiivski" avenue. It serves the residential areas around, the major marketplace Demiivskyi Rynok, and the cities central intercity bus station.

Demiivka (Ukrainian: Деміївка) is a neighborhood located in the Holosiiv Raion (district) of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is located towards the southern part of the city, in between the city's neighborhoods Chorna Hora, Shyrma, and Holosiiv National Park. Through the neighborhood flows Lybid River and the unofficial name of the neighborhood Nyzhnia Lybid (Lower Lybid). At its eastern edge is located a ridgeline of Kyiv Hills consisting of Lysa Hora, Chorna Hora, and Bahrynova Hora, past which is located Dnipro. Until the 19th century the area was outside of the Kyiv city and was known as Lybidska zemlya (land of Lybid) which had couple of small villages (sloboda) Verkhnyolybidske and Nyzhnyolybidske. The current name the place assumed sometime in the second half of the 19th century as Demiivka of Khotiv volost. In 1909 the Kyiv entrepreneur David Margolin opened in Demiivka a private city tramway company. In 1918 it was included into Kyiv and in 1920s through 1960s carried the name of Stalinka. Under such name, the neighborhood is mentioned in the work of Ukrainian writer Oles Ulianenko, "Stalinka", which received the junior Shevchenko National Prize (existed in 1997–1999). Most of its older building were demolished already in 1970s.The Kyiv Central Bus Station and Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine are located in the neighborhood. Demiivka is served by a Holosiivska and Demiivska metro stations of the Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko–Teremkivska line. The Kyiv Metro in the area was opened in 2010. Beside Kyiv underground rail transport, there is also a regular train station Kyiv-Demiivskyi. Through the neighborhood passes the European route E95. The Demiivska Square is an important intersection through which passes the E95 route and some major streets that lead to the Pivdennyi Bridge (Southern bridge, part of the European route E40). Across from the National Library is located a building of the Holosiivskyi District State Administration. The neighbor is also home to number of older Kyiv industries among which are Kyiv Brewing Factory #1 (Soviet name for former Carl Schultz Brewery), Kyiv Roshen Factory (former Demiivka Sugar Factory), Factory "Kyivhuma" (Kyiv Rubber), Kyiv Artillery Shells Factory, and others.

Kyiv Central Bus Station (Ukrainian: Київський Центральний Автовокзал) is the main and the largest bus station in Kyiv, Ukraine. It specializes in international and intercity (coach) services; suburban routes also present. The Central Bus Station is located on Demiivska Square in the Holosiiv neighborhood not far from the city center. The Central Bus Station is operated by the state-run "Kyivpasservis" commercial company and is independent from the bus-operating companies.

Demiivska Square (Ukrainian: Деміївська площа) is one of the squares of Kyiv, Ukraine. Located in the historical area Demiivka (southern Kyiv), emerged in the XIXth century and had name Market Square (Базарна), but commonly known as Demiivska after the name of former city suburb. After construction of Central Bus Station has received name Bus Station Square (Автовокзальна). From 1969 the square had name Moscow Square (Московська).Current name is from 2016.The square is an intersection of several streets and avenues Holosiivskyi and Lobanoskoho.
