St. Paul's Cathedral is a Church of North India (CNI) cathedral of Anglican background in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, noted for its Gothic architecture and dedicated to Paul the Apostle. It is the seat of the Diocese of Calcutta. The cornerstone was laid in 1839; the building was completed in 1847. It is said to be the largest church in Kolkata and the first Anglican cathedral in Asia. It was also the first new-built cathedral in the overseas territory of the British Empire. The edifice stands on Cathedral Road on the "island of attractions" to provide for more space for the growing population of the European community in Calcutta in the 1800s. The architectural design of the cathedral is "Indo-Gothic", a Gothic architectural style designed to meet the climate of India. Following the 1897 earthquake and the subsequent massive earthquake of 1934, when Calcutta suffered substantial damage, the cathedral was reconstructed to a revised design. The cathedral complex has a library, situated over the western porch, and a display of plastic art forms and memorabilia. Apart from that of Bishop Daniel Wilson, the founder of the cathedral, the other notable burial in the church is that of John Paxton Norman, an acting Chief Justice who was assassinated on the steps of Kolkata Town Hall in 1871.

The Calcutta Racket Club is a squash and racquet club in Kolkata, India. It was founded in 1793, making it one of the oldest rackets clubs in the world, and the first in the subcontinent. Of its seven squash courts, two are glass-backed international standard tournament courts. The Club is the administrative headquarters of The West Bengal Squash Racquet Association that is affiliated to the Squash Racket Federation of India. It has hosted the Kolkata International, an international squash tournament in 2005 and hosts all major squash activities and training in eastern India.

The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building on the Maidan in Central Kolkata, having its entrance on the Queen's Way. It was built between 1906 and 1921 by then British government. It is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria, Empress of India from 1876 to 1901. The largest monument to a monarch anywhere in the world, it stands in 64 acres of gardens and is now a museum under the control of the Ministry of Culture. Possessing prominent features of british architecture of colonial era, it has evolved into one of the most popular places in the city.

Mohor Kunja (earlier Citizen's Park) is a public urban park in Maidan, Kolkata. The park is located on Cathedral Road by the side of Victoria Memorial and opposite Nandan. The Park was opened as Citizen's Park. In 2007, the Park was renamed by Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya, then Mayor of Kolkata as Mohor Kunja to honour Rabindra Sangeet expert Kanika Bandopadhyay, who is popularly known as Mohor-di. The construction cost of the park was Rupees 64 Lakhs. The park is known for its Musical fountains and atheistic beauty. The park also provides an open-air stage for cultural events.

The 42 is a residential skyscraper in Kolkata, in the state of West Bengal, India. It is located on Chowringhee Road, the central business district of the city, between the Commercial building of Tata Centre and the residential building of Jeevan Sudha. It was first proposed in 2008 but construction was delayed for nearly two years. The construction of the building was completed in 2019, making it the tallest building in the country at that time.It is the tallest completed building in India outside of Mumbai.
