The John Seward House in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It has also been known as Seward Hall. It includes Greek Revival and Central passage plan architecture. It's a brick residence. Like the Thomas Holt House and the James Sayers House, also NRHP-listed, it has a main entrance with Greek Revival details, including a two-story portico.

The John Henry Carothers House, also known as Ezeal Carothers House, is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. When listed the property included four contributing buildings, two contributing structures, and two non-contributing buildings, on an area of 26 acres (11 ha).It is a one-and-a-half-story stone farmhouse built by John Henry Carothers with help from his son, Ezeal Carothers, following a house plan that was purchased. It was built in 1937 out of limestone which the Carothers family quarried on the property.The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.

Ravenswood is a historic property in Brentwood, Tennessee. Ravenswood was built by James Hazard Wilson II between 1821 and 1825. It was named to honor Sam Houston, the best man at Wilson's wedding. Houston was known as "the Raven" to the Cherokee. Ravenswood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2010, the city of Brentwood acquired the surrounding acreage and created Marcelle Vivrette Smith Park, which in 2014 became the largest park in Brentwood. After creating the park, the city restored the grounds and opened Ravenswood mansion for tours and special events.The plantation was one of several homes owned by the Wilson family. It comprised more than 1,000 acres and was one of the largest in Williamson County prior to the Civil War. Records from the 1860 census show that there were 55 enslaved people at Ravenswood. The plantation contained as many as 13 cabins for enslaved people, and the Wilson family also had enslaved people at their plantations in Louisiana and Mississippi. At the outbreak of the Civil War, Wilson hosted one of the area's two Confederate training camps at his Midway Plantation, which today is the Brentwood County Club.In 2010, the city of Brentwood purchased Ravenswood and the surrounding 325 acres, agreeing to name the resulting park as Marcella Vivrette Smith Park. In 2013, the city purchased an additional 80 acres to add to the park. It is now the largest park in Brentwood.The property includes Greek Revival and Federal architecture. When listed on the NRHP, the property included five contributing buildings and three non-contributing buildings on an area of 52 acres (21 ha).

The Joseph Wilson House was a property in Franklin, Tennessee built in c.1861. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The house was destroyed by fire on August 30, 2016, and was subsequently removed from the National Register.

The Coats–Hines–Litchy site (formerly Coats–Hines) is a paleontological site located in Williamson County, Tennessee, in the Southeastern United States. The site was formerly believed to be archaeological, and identified as one of only a very few locations in Eastern North America containing evidence of Paleoindian hunting of late Pleistocene proboscideans. Excavations at the site have yielded portions of four mastodon skeletons, including portions of one previously described as being in direct association with Paleoindian stone tools. The results of excavations have been published in Tennessee Conservationist, and the scholarly journals Current Research in the Pleistocene, Tennessee Archaeology, and Quaternary Science Reviews. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 12, 2011.

Centennial High School is a public high school located in Franklin, Tennessee, United States. The school serves the central section of Williamson County for students in grades 9–12.The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

CoolSprings Galleria is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall in the Cool Springs commercial and residential corridor between Franklin and Brentwood, Tennessee, 15 miles (24 km) south of Nashville. Opened in 1991, it features over 165 stores. The anchor stores are JCPenney, 2 Belk stores, H&M, American Girl, Ulta Beauty, Dillard's, Forever 21, and Macy's. The major tenant is The Cheesecake Factory. CBL Properties developed the mall in a joint venture with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, and has owned it since its opening; CBL also owns an adjacent power center called CoolSprings Crossing which was developed simultaneously.

The Owen-Cox House is a property in Brentwood, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The property is also known as Maplelawn.It was built or has other significance in 1891 and 1899. It includes Classical Revival and Italianate architecture. When listed the property included one contributing building and four non-contributing structures, on an area of 5.2 acres (2.1 ha).The Owen-Cox House "was originally an earlier one-story brick residence but was remodeled into the Italianate style ca. 1875. The house was again remodeled in the early 1900s with added metal columns.": 43 The house "is significant for its association with Nicholas N. Cox who served in the U.S. Congress from 1891 until 1901. Cox was the most prominent county politician in the late 19th century and was an able lawyer and legislator.": 47 The house was built by William Owen, using bricks made by slaves. Reportedly bought by Nicholas Cox under the carpetbagger government. Remodeled by his son, Carter Cox. Children of William Owen that may have been born in the house - John Owen, Nathan Owen II 1st TN CSA, Lucinda Owen (married Joseph E. Loggins, CSA, buried nearby), Harris Owen and Ira Owen. A family home of my line that well precedes current ownership.

The Little Harpeth River is a 16.3-mile-long (26.2 km) tributary of the Harpeth River in Tennessee, just south of Nashville. Via the Harpeth, Cumberland, and Ohio rivers, it is part of the Mississippi River watershed. The Little Harpeth rises in Williamson County, Tennessee near the community of Clovercroft. From there it flows north-northwest, entering and largely draining the Nashville suburb of Brentwood, where it crosses the golf course belonging to the local country club. The Brentwood area marks where the stream begins a largely west-northwest course. Crossing into Davidson County, it passes Edwin Warner Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the Southern United States, and provides a lovely setting for some of the picnic areas. From there, it flows into the main Harpeth River (colloquially called the "Big Harpeth") near the Bellevue area of Nashville. Its major tributaries are Beech Creek and Otter Creek, which is impounded several miles above its confluence with the Little Harpeth to form Radnor Lake, the focal point of Radnor Lake State Natural Area.

Ravenwood High School is a public high school located in Brentwood, Tennessee, which serves the eastern part of Williamson County. Opened in 2002, the $24.5 million facility, designed by architect Charlie Johnson, progressively grew its student body, beginning with only 540 students in grades nine and ten, 32 teachers, and 7 staff members. Currently enrolling approximately 2,000 students, Ravenwood aims "to become a model of successful community collaboration with the purpose of developing all learners to be able to work, learn and lead in the 21st century." The mission of Ravenwood is "to develop a community of learners that cultivates the intellect, ability, and character of each person within it." The school colors are red, black, and gold. The mascot is the Raptor, a bird of prey represented by the Red Tail Hawk. Ravenwood High School was ranked in Newsweek magazine's list of the top 1,000 public schools in the United States.

The Owen-Primm House was originally a log cabin built by Jabez Owen c. 1806, and later expanded with wood framing by Thomas Perkins Primm c. 1845. This property in Brentwood, Tennessee was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Dr. Jabez Owen was a prominent physician and planter in Brentwood who owned hundreds of acres around Moores Lane, Wilson Pike, and Concord Road. Dr. Owen was one of the wealthiest men in Williamson County, and at his death in 1850 he owned 58 slaves. Some of these antebellum slave cabins still stand on the property today.It was built or has other significance in c.1806, c.1845, and c.1900. It includes Central passage plan and other architecture.When listed the property included four contributing buildings and two contributing structures on an area of 1.8 acres (0.73 ha).The outbuildings include a pair of c.1845 log slave cabins with a shared stone chimney, square notching and original vertical board doors; a c. 1920 stone springhouse, a frame barn with weatherboard siding from c.1920, a frame garage from c.1930; a frame shed from c.1930.The property was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.The Primm farm's former slave cabins were potentially to be preserved, but one plan failed in 2018.

The John Herbert House, also known as Breezeway, is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. A 1988 study of historic resources in Williamson County identified the Herbert house as one of the "best examples", along with the Beasley-Parham House, of double pen dogtrot houses in the county: "Both houses were built with two log pens joined by an open breezeway or dogtrot and each pen has an exterior chimney. Both residences had the breezeways enclosed with weatherboard siding by the end of the 19th century. The original form and plan of the double pen dogtrot style is evident in both residences."It was built, remodelled, or has other significance in c.1830 and c.1910. It includes double pen and Dogtrot architecture. When listed the property included three contributing buildings on an area of 5.5 acres (2.2 ha).The property is denoted as Williamson County historic resource WM-152.
