El Sobrante, Riverside County, California

Arlington Mountain, a 1857 ft. peak, in the northern Temescal Mountains. It is located northwest of nearby Lake Mathews, overlooking western Riverside, in Riverside County, California.

Rancho San Jacinto Sobrante was a 48,847-acre (197.68 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Riverside County, California given in 1846 by Governor Pío Pico to María del Rosario Estudillo de Aguirre. The Rancho San Jacinto Sobrante grant was of the surplus or "sobrante" of Jose Antonio Estudillo's Rancho San Jacinto Viejo and Miguel Pedrorena's Rancho San Jacinto Nuevo y Potrero. The grant encompassed present day Lake Mathews. At the time of the US patent, Rancho San Jacinto Sobrante was a part of San Bernardino County. The County of Riverside was created by the California Legislature in 1893 by taking land from both San Diego and San Bernardino Counties.

Eagle Valley is a basin in the Temescal Mountains, of Riverside County, California. It has an elevation of 1,283 feet (391 meters). The basin is overlooked by summits of the Temescal Mountains on the west, north and east, the tallest is 1,857-foot Arlington Mountain on the northeast. The valley is drained by three streams, the primary one, has its source on the south slope of Arlington Mountain and drains southwestward into Cajalco Canyon and Cajalco Canyon Creek.The basin and mountains were encompassed by part of the Mexican land grant of Rancho San Jacinto Sobrante. The historic Cajalco Tin Mine was located in this valley at 33°50′51″N 117°28′50″W.

Riverside–La Sierra station is a Metrolink commuter rail train station in the La Sierra South neighborhood of Riverside, California, United States. Due to its large parking lot, it is the second-largest station served by Metrolink in surface area, after Union Station. La Sierra University is located a few miles from the station.The station is owned by the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC).

Castle Park, formerly Castle Amusement Park, is a 25-acre amusement park and family amusement center located in Riverside, California. The park utilizes a medieval "castle" theme and includes attractions such as a miniature golf course, arcade, and 22 amusement rides including two roller coasters such as Merlin's Revenge, a junior rollercoaster, and Screamin' Demon, a spinning Wild Mouse rollercoaster. The main "castle" themed building, houses the arcade as well as its only dark ride, "Ghost Blasters", an interactive attraction, designed by Sally Corporation, which can also be found at other amusement parks throughout North America. The park was designed, built and operated by Bud Hurlbut, who designed several rides at Knott's Berry Farm. Castle Park is currently owned and operated by Palace Entertainment.

La Sierra High School, located in Riverside, California, United States, is a public high school in the Alvord Unified School District that was founded on August 28, 1969. Tania Cabeza is the principal. La Sierra High School's official school colors are navy blue and white. Red is the accent color and has been since the school opened. The two main feeder schools for La Sierra High are Arizona and Villegas intermediate schools. La Sierra's rivals are Norte Vista and Hillcrest, the other public high schools in Alvord Unified.

Lake Mathews is a large reservoir in Riverside County, California, located in the Cajalco Canyon in the foothills of the Temescal Mountains. It is the western terminus for the Colorado River Aqueduct that provides much of the water used by the cities and water districts of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The reservoir is fenced and closed to all public access. The lake is near the Riverside community of Lake Hills, and is skirted by Cajalco Road on the south, El Sobrante Road on the north and east, and La Sierra Avenue on the west. La Sierra Avenue traverses the top of the west dike. The reservoir was constructed by building a large earthfill dam across the northern side of the basin. Two smaller dams, called dikes, were built during the 1961 (1961) expansion to increase the lake's capacity.

KGIC-LP (105.5 FM) is a radio station licensed to Corona, California, United States, the station serves the Riverside-San Bernardino area. The format is Spanish language Adult Contemporary with some Christian religious programming. The station is currently owned by Andres Serrano Ministries.

Arlington Station (formerly, Arlington) is a former unincorporated community, now annexed to Riverside in Riverside County, California. It lies at an elevation of 817 feet (249 m). Arlington Station is located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of downtown Riverside.

The Arlington Branch Library and Fire Hall, in Riverside, California, is a historic library and a fire station which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.The Classical Revival library was built in 1908 and renovated in 1927–28. It was originally designed by architect Seeley L. Pillar (1865-1968), and architect G. Stanley Wilson (1879-1958) designed the renovations.
