Nevsky District (Russian: Не́вский райо́н) is a district of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 466,013; up from 438,061 recorded in the 2002 Census.

Proletarskaya (Russian: Пролета́рская) is a station on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on July 10, 1981.

Obukhov State Plant (also known Obukhovski Plant, Russian: Государственный Обуховский Завод, romanized: Gosudarstvennyy Obukhovskiy Zavod) is a major Russian metallurgy and heavy machine-building plant in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Volodarsky Bridge (Russian: Волода́рский мост) is a moveable bridge across the Neva River in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The bridge connects Narodnaya and Ivanovskaya streets (Nevsky district). It is named after V. Volodarsky, a revolutionary, who was killed near the future bridge in 1918. It is the only bridge in the city with an overpass for trams (left bank). The bridge is part of the Central Arc Thoroughfare. In 1932-1936, according to engineer G.P. Peredery's project, a three-span reinforced concrete arch bridge with a metal double-winged drawbridge was built. In 1986-1993, the old bridge was dismantled and replaced with a metal girder. The bridge length is 332 meters, the width is 24–27 meters. Upstream is the Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge, and below is the Finland Railway Bridge.

Lomonosovskaya (Russian: Ломоно́совская) is a station on the Nevsko–Vasileostrovskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on December 21, 1970. It is named after Russian polymath Mikhail Lomonosov.

The Imperial Porcelain Factory (Russian: Императорский Фарфоровый Завод, romanized: Imperatorskii Farforovyi Zavod), also known as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory (abbreviated as IPM), is a producer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was established by Dmitry Ivanovich Vinogradov in 1744 and was supported by the Russian tsars since Empress Elizabeth. Many still refer to the factory by its well-known former name, the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory.

The Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge (Russian: Большо́й Обу́ховский мост, Bolshoy Obukhovsky most) is the newest (not taking into account the Blagoveshchensky Bridge rebuilt in 2007) bridge across the Neva River in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is the only bridge across the Neva which is not a drawbridge. One of the longest bridges in Russia, it is the first fixed bridge and largest bridge across the Neva. Of course it is the largest bridge in St. Petersburg by the size of the covered span (382 m). It is located in Nevsky District, in the middle stream of the Neva. It connects Obukhovskaya Oborony Avenue with the Oktyabrskaya embankment. It is a cable-stayed bridge; the steel wire ropes are the key element of the supporting construction. But what looks like a bridge is actually two identical twin bridges with opposite directions of movement along them. One is located upstream of the Neva (southern) and is for driving eastward, the other downstream (north) is for driving in a western direction.

Shushary (Russian: Шушары) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line (Line 5) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2019 as a part of the extension of the line to the south from Mezhdunarodnaya. The extension also included Prospekt Slavy and Dunayskaya stations. Shushary is the southeastern terminus of the line, behind Dunayskaya.The station was initially planned as Yuzhnaya, and the name was sometimes used in official communications.Shushary is built outside of the Saint Petersburg Ring Road, in Frunzensky District. The name refers to the settlement of Shushary.

The Sacred Heart Church (Russian: Храм Святейшего Сердца Иисусова) is a Catholic church, built in the neo-Gothic style located in the Russian city of St. Petersburg in northern Russia and part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Moscow. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and is located at 57 Babushkin street. In 1892 several thousand Catholics, the workers of the Neva district east of the capital and of Polish origin, most sought permission to build a new church that was finally obtained in autumn 1905. It was then officially dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Before the structure was finished the parishioners met in a near Obukhov factory, under the auspices of the parish of St. Catherine. The necessary land was purchased 18 November 1906 and plans for construction were entrusted to the architect Stefan Galenzovski and the first stone was blessed on 8 September 1907, but due to financial difficulties, the main work was completed only in 1912 and worship began in 1914. The church was consecrated in 1917 after the February revolution. A tower could not be built. After the fall of the USSR and the end of an atheistic government, the Catholic Church in Russia, like other Christians were again allowed to operate relatively normally. A parish was formed in 1993, which was assigned a part of the building. The first Mass was celebrated on 6 June 1996. The parish obtained the right to recover the entire building in 2003, but the right to build a tower as it was in the original plans was denied by the municipality in 2009. Restoration work began in 2011.

Rybatskoye (Russian: Рыба́цкое) is a station on the Nevsko–Vasileostrovskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on 28 December 1984.

Dunayskaya (Russian: Дунайская) is a Saint Petersburg Metro station on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line (Line 5) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2019 as a part of the extension of the line to the south from Mezhdunarodnaya. The extension also included Prospekt Slavy and Shushary stations. Dunayskaya is between Prospekt Slavy and Shushary.The station is in the Balkansky Okrug of the Frunzensky District of Saint Petersburg at the corner of Bukharestskaya Ulitsa and Dunaysky Prospekt. It takes its name from Dunaysky Prospekt, which is named for the Danube River.
