Ostrožnik (pronounced [ɔˈstɾoːʒnik]; German: Ostroschnik) is a small village east of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. The municipality is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Glinek (pronounced [ˈɡliːnək]) is a small settlement on the right bank of the Mirna River in the Municipality of Mirna in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. Six burial mounds close to the settlement date to the Early Iron Age.

Gorenja Vas pri Mokronogu (pronounced [ɡɔˈɾeːnja ˈʋaːs pɾi mɔˈkɾoːnɔɡu]; Slovene: Gorenja vas pri Mokronogu, German: Oberdorf) is a small settlement just west of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. Bistrica (pronounced [ˈbiːstɾitsa]; German: Feistritz) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The settlement lies on the regional road leading southeast from Mirna to Mokronog in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The rail line from Sevnica to Trebnje runs south of the settlement.

Simončič Hayrack, also Simončič Toplar, is a hayrack at the southeastern border of Bistrica in the Municipality of Šentrupert in the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It has been known as the largest and the most beautiful hayrack in Slovenia. It was built in 1936 by Janko Gregorčič (officially Janez Gregorčič; 1906–1984), a carpenter from the nearby Slovenska Vas, on the order of the farmer Jože Simončič. It has been designed as a double hayrack (toplar) with wooden pillars, three pairs of windows and a pitched roof. The gable, which is turned towards the road linking the villages of Mirna and Mokronog, is richly decorated with predominantly plant motives. Simončič Hayrack belongs to the farmstead Bistrica no. 11. Since 2001, it has been protected as a cultural monument of national significance and is the only hayrack in Slovenia with this status. As the most known of over 500 hayracks in the Mirna Valley it supplements the Land of Hayracks, i.e. the museum of hayracks in Šentrupert. Exhibitions of visual arts and other events take place seasonally under its roof, however it is also still used to dry hay and as a place to store agricultural machines.

Slepšek (pronounced [ˈsleːpʃək]) is a small settlement west of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.The local church is dedicated to Martin of Tours and belongs to the Parish of Mokronog. It has a Romanesque nave with a 16th-century extension. The building was restyled in the Baroque in the mid-18th century.

Prelesje (pronounced [pɾɛˈleːsjɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The railway line from Sevnica to Trebnje runs just south of the settlement.

Debenec (pronounced [dɛˈbɛːnəts] or [dəˈbɛːnəts]) is a small settlement in the hills in the Municipality of Mirna in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. A small chapel in the western part of the settlement is dedicated to Saint Anne and belongs to the parish of Mirna. It was built in 1834.
