Castle Heights

McDonough Park is a stadium in Geneva, New York. It is primarily used for baseball and was home to the Geneva Cubs. It opened in 1958 with seating for 3,000. The ballpark remains serviceable and plays host to two different teams, the Red Wings of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, and the revived Hobart Statesmen Baseball team. McDonough "alumni" include Pete Rose.

Geneva is a city in Ontario and Seneca counties in the U.S. state of New York. It is at the northern end of Seneca Lake; all land portions of the city are within Ontario County; the water portions are in Seneca County. The population was 13,261 at the 2010 census. The city is supposedly named after the city and canton of Geneva in Switzerland. The main settlement of the Seneca was spelled Zoneshio by early European settlers, and was described as being two miles north of Seneca Lake.The city borders, and was once part of, the town of Geneva. The city identifies as the "Lake Trout Capital of the World."

Smith Observatory and Dr. William R. Brooks House is a historic home and observatory located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. Both structures were built in 1888. The observatory is a small frame building consisting of a two-story tower flanked by two small wings. The tower contains a 10-inch refracting telescope by Warner & Swasey of Cleveland, Ohio. The east wing contains an intact meridian transit telescope and sidereal pendulum clock. The house is a two-story brick dwelling with a broad range of intact, late Victorian eclectic features.Brooks was a Professor of Astronomy at Hobart College, which owned the observatory until the late 20th century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Geneva High School is a public high school located in Geneva, New York, United States. The school serves grades 9-12 and is a part of the Geneva City School District. The principal is Gregory Baker, the assistant principal is Timothy Baker, and the associate principal is Tricia Budgar.

Geneva General Hospital is a 132-bed hospital in upstate New York with additional outpatient services via clinics. It was founded in 1898 and also operates two nursing homes and a nursing school; the latter's program offers a two-year A.S. (Associate degree in Science).

First Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. The church was constructed in 1893-1894 and is an example of Romanesque Revival style. Constructed of brick with limestone accents, the main block is surmounted by a profusion of tower, turrets, and cross gables. The front facade is flanked by two massive square towers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The New York State Agricultural Experiment Station (NYSAES) at Geneva, Ontario County, New York State, is an agricultural experiment station operated by the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University. In August 2018, the station was rebranded as Cornell AgriTech, but its official name remains unchanged.The Station is the sixth oldest institution of its kind in the country.

DeSales High School was a Catholic school established in 1912 in the Diocese of Rochester. It was located in the northern sector of Geneva, New York. DeSales High's mission was "to provide an academically excellent education in an intimate, faith-filled community". It was the only Catholic high school in the Finger Lakes region. DeSales closed on July 31, 2012 by the Diocese of Rochester due to financial struggles and decreasing enrollment. The final Senior class (the class of 2012) graduated in the centennial of the school.

Parrott Hall (formerly known as Denton House, Denton Place and Entomology Hall) is a historic home located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. It was built in the early 1850s and consists of a 3-story main block and 2-story addition in the Italianate villa style. In 1882, the property was acquired by New York State for use as an agricultural experiment station, and was part of the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station until 1968. It was deeded to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in 1970 for use as a museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Washington Street Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. The cemetery was laid out in 1832 and the entry is distinguished by a handsome cast iron arch dating from the 1840s / 1850s. It contains about 2,200 burials dating from 1832 to the 1950s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

US Post Office—Geneva is a historic post office building located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. It is a symmetrically massed one story structure faced with red brick and trimmed in limestone. It was constructed in 1905-1906 and is the first post office constructed in New York state in the Colonial Revival style. It is one of 13 post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under James Knox Taylor. The entrance portico features four Doric columns supporting a full Doric entablature and pediment with an oculus in its tympanum. The interior features a mural titled "The Vineyard" by Peter Blume and installed in 1942.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is located in the Geneva Commercial Historic District.

Geneva Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York. The armory consists of a long, shallow, rectangular, five-story, hip-roofed administration building with an attached 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular gable-roofed drill shed. The original section of the administration building was built in 1892 and designed by architect Isaac G. Perry. It was tripled in size in 1906 and the addition included a slightly off-center 10-sided, 4+1⁄2-story castle-like tower.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
