Arcade Building (Toronto)

The Birkbeck Building is a four-storey office building in downtown Toronto, Ontario. It is a National Historic Site of Canada and is protected under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act since 1976 with an Ontario Heritage Trust easement on the property.

The Dineen Building is a registered heritage property on Yonge Street, at the corner of Temperance Street, in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building was built in 1897, and was extensively renovated in 2012.On November 21, 1973, the City of Toronto listed the property on the City of Toronto Heritage Property Inventory. and designated it as being of cultural heritage value or interest, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act by City of Toronto By-law No.1062-2009, enacted by City Council on November 25, 2009. The original architect was F. H. Herbert. The building cost $30,000. The building used bronze and aluminum plates on its ceilings—aluminum being used for the first time in Canada. According to the Daily Mail and Empire the building's Sprague automatic elevator was also a remarkable feature. A Sprague automatic elevator is also a feature not to be found in any store in Canada, this being the first time one has been placed in any building outside of New York State. A fire triggered by an electrical fault caused significant damage in 1917.The new owner, Commercial Realty Group, decided to employ the more expensive adaptive reuse method to restoring the building.The storefront on Yonge Street has had its fifteen foot ceilings re-exposed, and houses a boutique style coffee shop called the Dineen Coffee Co. Two restaurants, "The Chase" and "The Chase Fish and Oyster", has opened on the Temperance Street facade.

Hudson's Bay Queen Street is a building complex on the southwest corner of Yonge Street and Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was originally named the Simpson's Department Store, and operated as the flagship store of the Simpsons department store chain from 1895–1991. It became a flagship store of its successor, The Bay, in 1991 (rebranded to Hudson's Bay in 2013). The building was retrofitted to house the first Saks Fifth Avenue department store in Canada in 2016. The building is the headquarters of the Hudson's Bay Company, which owns both department store chains. The company sold the building to Cadillac Fairview in 2014 and maintains a leaseback agreement with the company through at least 2039. Through this agreement, the building is part of the CF-owned Toronto Eaton Centre, although a skybridge had already connected the adjacent properties since the 1970s.

The park is currently closed for construction and repairs.

St. Michael's Hospital is a teaching hospital and medical centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1892, with the founding goal of taking care of the sick and poor of Toronto's inner city. The hospital provides tertiary and quaternary services in cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, inner city health and therapeutic endoscopy. It is one of two Level 1 adult trauma centres in Greater Toronto, along with the larger Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. As trauma centres, both St. Michael's and Sunnybrook are equipped with helipads. It is one of several teaching hospitals of the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and a part of the Unity Health Toronto hospital network.

The Toronto Street Post Office, also known as Toronto's Seventh Post Office, is a heritage building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was completed in 1853 and is located at 10 Toronto Street in downtown Toronto. The building was designed by Frederick William Cumberland and Thomas Ridout in the Greek Revival style.

The Woolworth building, located at Queen Street West and Yonge Street in downtown Toronto, pre-dates the Toronto Eaton Centre.
