WPA Stone Structures in Memorial Park and Calvary Cemetery

Ralph Engelstad Arena (REA), commonly called the Ralph, is an indoor arena located on the campus of the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks, North Dakota and serves as the home of UND men's ice hockey. The arena was built by controversial UND alumnus Ralph Engelstad. The North Dakota Fighting Hawks men's hockey team is the tenant. The arena formerly hosted the defunct North Dakota women's hockey team.

Grand Forks County Fairgrounds WPA Structures is a collection of five structures within the Grand Forks County Fairgrounds in Grand Forks, North Dakota, that were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.The structures are the fairgrounds entrance gate, ticket kiosk, administration building, and cairns, all built from stone, as well as the fairgrounds grandstand. They are located on the grounds of the Grand Forks State Fair Grounds and are associated with the River Cities Speedway. "The five remaining structures have been recognized as historically significant, examples of the importance of county and state fairs to local culture and social history."The structures were built between 1936 and 1939 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt attended the 1937 dedication ceremony for the Grand Forks County Fairgrounds grandstand, which was designed by Grand Forks architect Theodore B. Wells and was considered to be innovative in its design.Steve C. Martens, an architect and North Dakota State University professor, wrote the NRHP nomination. He commented extensively at a public hearing describing the importance of the structures. According to Martens, the project was the largest WPA project in the state.In 2009 the listed structures included three contributing buildings, one contributing structure, and one contributing object. The nominated listing covers an area of 51 acres (21 ha). The listing is described as including Art Deco and WPA Rustic Fieldstone architecture.

The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center (The Betty) is an indoor arena located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It is adjacent to the larger $100 million Ralph Engelstad Arena in the University Village development. The facility sits on the campus of the University of North Dakota and is used for the university's basketball and volleyball teams. The facility opened in August 2004. It has a seating capacity of 3,300. It features a 24,000-square-foot (2,200 m2) wood floor. In addition to university sports, the arena is used for small concerts and other community events.

The University of North Dakota College of Arts and Science (A&S) is the liberal arts and sciences unit of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The College of Arts and Sciences was established in 1883, and is the largest and oldest of nine colleges at the University, with over 200 regular faculty members in eighteen departments. The departments are organized into four divisions: fine arts, social sciences, humanities, and math & science. The college currently enrolls approximately 2,100 undergraduate students, about 21% of the University's total undergraduate enrollment. It offers forty-three undergraduate degree programs, fifteen master's programs, and eleven doctoral programs. The college is headquartered in Columbia Hall.

University Village (also known as the Bronson Property) is a neighborhood in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It is a part of the University of North Dakota (UND) campus and is located directly north of UND's central campus area. The property comprises 160 acres (0.65 km2) located on the banks of the meandering English Coulee directly off U.S. Highway 2. University Village has been developed as a commercial and residential neighborhood with the Ralph Engelstad Arena as the major anchor and has been called "the most valuable piece of real estate in North Dakota."

The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences is located in Grand Forks, North Dakota at the University of North Dakota (UND) and is the only school of medicine in the state of North Dakota. The school has trained roughly half of the physicians currently practicing in the state. Nearly 20 percent of American physicians identifying as American Indian/Alaska Native in the United States were trained at the school. Also, the medical school has been ranked third nationally in the area of rural medicine and first for the percentage of graduates choosing family medicine. The school has four campuses located throughout North Dakota. The Northeast Campus, which is the main campus, is located in Grand Forks. The Northwest campus is located in Downtown Minot, the Southeast Campus is located in the Washington neighborhood in Fargo and the Southwest Campus is located in Downtown Bismarck. The School also hosts professional programs for students interested in physician assistant studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical laboratory science, sports medicine, and public health. It also offers master and doctoral-level training for researchers focused on the biomedical sciences and clinical and translational science. In 2020 the School announced it would be taking applications for the world's first standalone doctoral program in indigenous health.

The University of North Dakota Historic District is a 127-acre (51 ha) area in Grand Forks, North Dakota that was listed as a historic district in the National Register of Historic Places on January 13, 2010.The district is located on the University of North Dakota campus and neighboring streets. It includes 56 contributing properties. The area also includes 17 non-contributing buildings and three non-contributing structures.While it is considered to retain a cohesive design, the district demonstrates changes in education from the 1880s, when the campus was first built, through the years after World War II. The district has dates of significance in 1883, 1922, and 1949. Some work within the area was designed by architect Joseph Bell DeRemer. The district includes Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals architecture.

The North Dakota Mill and Elevator is the largest flour mill in the United States. It is located in the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Established by the state government when it was led by Nonpartisan League representatives, it is the only state-owned milling facility in the United States. It is overseen by the North Dakota Industrial Commission, whose members are all public officers elected by popular vote.

The Chester Fritz Library is the largest library at the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It is the largest library in the state of North Dakota and houses over two million print and non-print items. It is a designated U.S. Patent and Trademark depository of federal and state documents. The library also houses a Special Collections Department preserving unique publications, manuscripts, historical records, and genealogical resources, including a large collection of Norwegian bygdebøker (place histories).The library is named after Chester Fritz (March 25, 1892 - July 28, 1983), a notable alumnus of UND, as is the Chester Fritz Auditorium, which is also located at UND.

The University of North Dakota (also known as UND or North Dakota) is a public research university in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It was established by the Dakota Territorial Assembly in 1883, six years before the establishment of the state of North Dakota. The university has the only schools of law and medicine in the state of North Dakota. The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences was the first in the country to offer a degree in unmanned aircraft systems operation. Several national research institutions are on the university's campus including the Energy and Environmental Research Center, the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center. It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity".

Memorial Stadium is the home of the University of North Dakota (UND) track and field teams. It is located on the campus of UND in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The stadium holds 10,000 people and opened in 1927. Memorial Stadium was home of the UND football from 1927 until 2001. Today, the football team plays in the nearby Alerus Center; however, the team continues to utilize Memorial Stadium for team offices, training, and practices. In March of 2021, Memorial Stadium was demolished to make room for a new 25 million dollar building. The new building will house athletic offices as well as market rate apartments.

Oxford House is a building on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. When it was built in 1902, it was considered one of the most fashionable houses in the Northwest.It was designed by architect Joseph Bell DeRemer in Colonial Revival style.
