Connolly, County Clare

Inagh ( EYE-nə; Irish: Eidhneach, meaning 'ivy') is a village and civil parish in County Clare, Ireland. It is situated 14 km west of Ennis on the Inagh River. It contains the villages of Inagh and Cloonanaha.

Inagh and Kilnamona is a parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe in County Clare, Ireland. It is mostly coterminous with the civil parishes of Inagh and Kilnamona that lie to the west of the county town of Ennis in the ancient barony of Inchiquin. The parish contains two churches and an oratory.

Inagh-Kilnamona GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Inagh and Kilnamona, County Clare in Ireland. The club field teams in hurling. The present club was formed prior to the 2008 season when Inagh GAA and Kilnamona GAA merged to form one club.

The N85 road is a national secondary road in Ireland connecting Ennis and Ennistymon. The route connects to the M18 Ennis bypass and forms part of the Ennis outer ring road as the "N85 Western Relief Road". From Ennis the route continues in a north - west direction and terminates at the junction with the N67 at Ennistymon. It is located entirely in County Clare.

Kilmaley (Irish: Cill Mháille) is a village situated 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) west of the town of Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. The name "Kilmaley" came from the Irish language "Cill Mhaile" which translates to Church of (Saint) Maley.

County Clare was a constituency representing County Clare in the Irish House of Commons, the lower house in the Irish Parliament of the Kingdom of Ireland. It returned two members to the Parliament of Ireland from 1613 to 1800. In the Patriot Parliament of 1689 summoned by James II, Clare was represented with two members.Following the Acts of Union 1800, it was succeeded by the County Clare constituency in the United Kingdom House of Commons.

Slievecallan or Slieve Callan (Irish: Sliabh Calláin), also historically called 'Mount Callan', is a mountain with a height of 391 metres (1,283 ft) in west County Clare, Ireland. It is the third highest mountain in the county. There is a small lake and two megalithic tombs on the south side, and traditionally the mountain was used for Lughnasa gatherings.

Cloonanaha (from Irish: Cluain an Fhathaigh) (less often Clounanaha) is a small village and townland in County Clare, Ireland. The village of Cloonanaha is just off the R460 road to the west of Inagh. It has a small school called Cloonanaha National School. Cloonanaha is within the civil parish of Inagh and the barony of Inchiquin. It is in the Catholic parish of Inagh and Kilnamona. It contains the Oratory of The Blessed Mary Ever Virgin.

Kilnamona (Irish: Cill na Móna, meaning 'Church of the Bog or Marshy Field') is a village and a civil parish in County Clare, Ireland. It is situated north-west of Ennis.

Inch (Irish: An Inse) is a village in County Clare, in Ireland. Inch townland is located five minutes drive from the county council administrative centre, Ennis. The village is on the R474 Ennis to Milltown Malbay road. Inch has a church, primary school and several bed and breakfasts. No shops are left. The village of Inch is in the parish of Inch and Kilmaley in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe. Parish churches are Our Lady of the Wayside in Inch, St John the Baptist in Kilmaley and St Michael the Archangel in Connolly.

Rath (Irish: An Ráth) is a civil parish in the barony of Inchiquin in County Clare, Ireland.
