The National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" (Bulgarian: Национална музикална академия „Панчо Владигеров“, Natsionalna muzikalna akademia „Pancho Vladigerov“), also known under its former name, the Bulgarian State Conservatoire (Българска държавна консерватория, Balgarska darzhavna konservatoria), is a university of music in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Founded in 1921 through a royal decree of Tsar Boris III, it is named after influential Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov (1899–1978). Two buildings house the academy. It offers 30 programmes divided into three faculties: the Faculty of Theory, Composition and Conducting; the Instrumental Faculty; and the Vocal Faculty.

Teatralna (Bulgarian: Театрална) is a Sofia Metro station on M3 line. It was opened on 26 August 2020 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Hadzhi Dimitar to Krasno Selo. The station is located between Hadzhi Dimitar and Orlov Most.

The National Military History Museum (Национален военноисторически музей, Natsionalen voennoistoricheski muzey) is a museum dedicated to military history in Sofia, Bulgaria. A structure of the Ministry of Defence, it has existed under various names and subordinate to various institutions since 1 August 1914 (in practice since 4 July 1916). It consists of 5,000 m2 of indoor and 40,000 m2 outdoor (of which 500 m2 covered) exhibition area, changing exhibits, a library and a computer centre.

Serdika Center Sofia is a shopping mall located in Sofia, Bulgaria, opened in the spring of 2010 and has more than 210 stores. Serdika Center Sofia is located on Sitnyakovo Boulevard in the municipality of Oborishte. The shopping mall is a 5-minute drive from Sofia's main motorway Trakiya, 10 minutes from Sofia Airport and 10 minutes from the central part of Sofia.

Oborishte (Bulgarian: Оборище [oˈbɔriʃtɛ]) is an urban district located in the centre of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. As of 2006 the population is 36,000. It has an area of 3.07 km², of which streets and squares encompass 59 ha, parks and gardens 47 ha, schools and kindergartens 9 ha, hospitals and polyclinics 5 ha, embassies 1.5 ha, theatres 1 ha, petrol stations and parkings 2.5 ha, churches 1 ha, administrative buildings 16 ha and residential areas 164 ha. A large part of the population is engaged in government and administration. There are several ministries and other important institutions including the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Regional and Public Development, the Ministry of Education, the Social Ministry, the Energetics Committee, the Capital Municipality, the Parliament building, the State Archive Bureau and many embassies and others. Three institutions for higher education are located in the district: the National Academy of Arts, the State Academy of Music and the Military Academy Georgi Sava Rakovski. There are 12 schools, 6 kindergartens and 3 chitalishta.

Vlaykova Cinema is a cinema and cultural hub in Sofia, Bulgaria. The cinema is seen as one of the cultural treasures of Sofia. It is named after Maria and Todor Vlaykov, who paid for the cinema's construction.

The Doctors' Garden (Bulgarian: Докторска градина, Doktorska gradina) is a park in the Bulgarian capital Sofia between the Oborishte and Shipka streets. It is located behind the SS. Cyril and Methodius National Library and close to many of the historical monuments and state institutions in the capital. The park is named after the monument of the fallen medics during the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878), most of whom worked for the mission of the Russian Red Cross and perished in the battles at Pleven, Plovdiv, Mechka and Shipka. The monument was constructed between 1883 and 1884 by the Russian architect of Czech origin Antoniy Osipovich Tomishko.

Hadzhi Dimitar (Bulgarian: Хаджи Димитър) is the eastern terminus on the M3 line of the Sofia Metro. It was opened on 26 August 2020 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Hadzhi Dimitar to Krasno Selo. The adjacent station is Teatralna.

Ariana (Bulgarian: Ариана) is the name of a medium-sized artificial lake in Knyaz Boris's Garden in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is "B"-shaped, 175 m long and 75 m wide, with a small island at its narrowest point. It is located at the northernmost corner of the park, in the city centre, between the Eagles' Bridge and the national stadium. The lake was constructed in the late 19th century and has since been a focal point for leisurely walks by Sofianites. Water wheels and rowing boats have been a feature, and in winter it was frequently known to freeze over and for people to ice-skate on its surface.In the mid-20th century, a casino was built on the island. In the early 1990s, the municipal government ceased caring for the lake, which dried up and remained empty and disused for nearly two decades. In 2007, the lake and its vicinity were renovated and once more began to be a place of leisure. The lake shares its name with the brewery which was located a couple of hundred yards to the north until being demolished in 2004.

The SS. Cyril and Methodius National Library (Национална библиотека „Свети Свети Кирил и Методий“) is the national library of Bulgaria, situated in the capital city of Sofia. Founded on 4 April 1878, the library received the status of Bulgarian National Library three years later and the Bulgarian National Revival Archive was merged into it in 1924. It is named after "SS. Cyril and Methodius"; Saints Cyril and Methodius. They are the creators of the Glagolitic alphabet. The Cyrillic alphabet is named after Cyril.The present building of the library is among the landmarks of Sofia. It was designed by the famous Bulgarian architectural team Vasilyov-Dimitur Tsolov and completed in the period 1940-1953.

Orlov Most (Bulgarian: Орлов мост) is a Sofia Metro station on M3 line. It was opened on 26 August 2020 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Hadzhi Dimitar to Krasno Selo. The station is located between Teatralna and St. Patriarch Evtimiy. Transfer to SU St. Kliment Ohridski on M1 line is available.

The First English Language School (FELS, 114th High School "Liliana Dimitrova") was founded in 1958 in Sofia, Bulgaria as a high school for education in English language as a foreign language to Bulgarian high school students. The school has occupied its location at 60 Dondukov Street since 1960 and shares it with the 112th Elementary School. FELS became a UNESCO associated school in 1978. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious public high schools in the country. Over 90% of its graduates pursue their higher education in schools and universities in Bulgaria, the EU and the United States.
