Hoeggen Church

Moholt is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is situated the borough of Lerkendal. It is south of Tyholt and north of Loholt. The area is dominated by housing, including a lot of student housing. There are also some supermarkets and commercial enterprises in the area, primarily because of the proximity to the European route E06 highway. Also located at Moholt is the Trondheim Business School, a faculty of Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Strinda is a former municipality in the old Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 144-square-kilometre (56 sq mi) municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The municipality encompassed the eastern part of what is now the municipality of Trondheim south and east of the main city center all the way southeast to the lake Jonsvatnet, and it originally included what is now the municipality of Malvik. The western part of the municipality was heavily urbanized, while the areas further east and south were more suburban. The administrative centre was actually located in the neighboring city of Trondheim, just across the Nidelva river on the Kjøpmansgata road.

Trondheim Business School (Norwegian: Handelshøyskolen i Trondheim) or HHiT, former a faculty of Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) in Trondheim, Norway, is, as of 2016, a faculty of Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The school provides economics and business management education. It was founded in 1967 as an independent university college, but in 1994 it and seven other university colleges in Trondheim merged to form HiST. From the merger until 2003 the school was called Sør-Trøndelag University College, Faculty of Economics and Administration. The school is located at Elgeseter, in a building that was officially opened in 2014. The school has about 1200 students, including 150 postgraduate and a few doctoral students. The school only offers one bachelor degree, in business administration, but with possibilities to specialise in finance, accounting, marketing, management, sport management and audition. There is also possibility to get a Master of Science in Business Administration with specialisation in finance, management or marketing.

Charlottenlund Church (Norwegian: Charlottenlund kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Charlottenlund neighborhood, east of downtown part of the city of Trondheim. It is one of the churches for the Ranheim og Charlottenlund parish which is part of the Strinda prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The red brick church was built in a long church style in 1973 by the architect Roar Tønseth. The church seats about 350 people.

Strinda Church (Norwegian: Strinda kirke, historically Moholt kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Strinda area in the city of Trondheim. It is the church for the Strinda parish which is part of the Strinda prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform design with a Neo-gothic style in 1900 using plans drawn up by the architects Lars Solberg and Johan Christensen. The church seats about 300 people.

In 2017 the department was merged with the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources Engineering, forming the new Department of Geoscience and Petroleum. The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is the key university of science and technology in Norway. The Department of Petroleum Engineering and Applied Geophysics (IPT) was established in 1973, shortly after the start of production (Ekofisk field) from the Norwegian continental shelf. The department came to include Petroleum Engineering as well as Geophysics, which is seen as a major strength of the petroleum education at NTNU. The department has elected chairman and vice chairman, and 4 informal groups of professors; geophysics, drilling, production and reservoir engineering. The stated primary purpose of maintaining the informal groups is to take care of the teaching in their respective disciplines. Each group is responsible for offering a sufficient number of courses, semester projects and thesis projects at M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels in their discipline, and to make annual revisions of these in accordance with the needs of society and industry. The total number of professors, associate professors, assistant professors and adjunct professors is 32. The administrative staff is led by a department administrator, and consists of a total of 6 secretaries. The technical support staff reports to the department head, and consists of 8 engineers and technicians. Until 2000, the department was part of the Applied Earth Sciences faculty, together with the Geology-department. After that, the department is part of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology (one of a total of 10 departments). Strinda is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The neighborhood is located in the Lerkendal borough within Trondheim Municipality. It is the site of the historic Strinda Church. The neighborhood lies to the north of Moholt, south of Valentinlyst, and southeast of Singsaker and Elgeseter.

Tyholttårnet is a 126 metre tall radio tower with an observation deck in Trondheim, Norway. With its 124-meter it is currently the tallest building in Norway. Tyholttårnet was built in 1985. The tower features a revolving restaurant, at an altitude of 81 metres, which makes one complete revolution per hour.

SINTEF has 2000 employees from 75 countries and annual revenues of three billion Norwegian kroner. SINTEF has a close partnership with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), started in 1950 when SINTEF was founded. SINTEF has expertise in technology, medicine and the social sciences. Alexandra Bech Gjørv is the CEO of SINTEF, preceded by Unni Steinsmo, Morten Loktu and Roar Arntzen.

Berg Church (Norwegian: Berg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Berg area in the city of Trondheim. It is the church for the Berg parish which is part of the Strinda prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The red, brick church was built in a long church style in 1972 using plans drawn up by the architects Tycho Castberg, Nils Lien, and Sverre Risan. The church seats about 250 people.

NRK P1 is a nationwide digital radio channel operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It is the result of the NRK radio channel reform initiated in 1993 by radio director Tor Fuglevik. NRK P1 is the direct descendant of NRK's first radio station which began broadcasting in 1933. P1's programming is aimed at a broad mature demographic and it is Norway's most popular radio station, with approximately 1.9 million listeners daily. P1's headquarters are located in the Tyholt area of Trondheim and most of its programmes are made there, except for news broadcasts which are produced, together with some other programming, at Broadcasting House in Marienlyst, Oslo. With its 1,176 FM transmitters using 124 different frequencies, NRK P1 was the largest radio network in Europe. However, all NRK's radio stations were gradually digitised during 2017 and are now transmitted via DAB+ and internet. NRK P1 also transmitted in longwave at 153 kHz via the Ingøy radio transmitter (opened in 2000, closed 2 December 2019 12:06 AM CET), which served the country's fishing fleet in the Barents Sea.

Lerkendal (Urban East Norwegian: [ˈlæ̂rkn̩dɑːɫ]) is a borough in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The borough was established on 1 January 2005 in a municipal borough reform that reduced the number of boroughs in the city. The borough of Østbyen lies to the east, Midtbyen lies to the northwest, and Heimdal lies to the southwest. The boroughs oversee health, welfare, and education for their residents.The borough is located south of Gløshaugen and Elgeseter, west of Berg, north of Tempe and mostly east of the river Nidelva. The area is dominated by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, SINTEF, and Lerkendal Stadion (the home stadium of Rosenborg). The area also has a railway line, Stavne–Leangen Line, running through it with one station, Lerkendal Station, that is served by the local tran service Trøndelag Commuter Rail. The borough of Lerkendal consists of the neighborhoods and villages of Bratsberg, Dragvoll, Elgeseter, Flatåsen, Gløshaugen, Lerkendal, Moholt, Nardo, Risvollan, Sjetnemarka, Valentinlyst, Fossegrenda and Åsvang.
