Warren Point is a former town in the southwest corner of Warren Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. It was located on the north side of Licking Creek, and at the southwest end of Keefer Mountain, and approximately two miles west of Yeakle Mill. It is present on old topographic maps (for example, Hancock Quadrangle of 1899), but is no longer labeled on later maps (for example, Cherry Run of 1951). The Licking Creek Member of the Old Port Formation was first described a mile east of Warren Point.

The district comprises all of Garrett, Allegany, Frederick, and Washington counties as well as a portion of Montgomery County. David Trone (D) is its current representative.The previous boundaries of the district were the subject of a Supreme Court lawsuit over partisan gerrymandering. The court ruled that taking into account partisan advantage when redistributing is "not judiciable" in federal courts, leaving it to the states. In 2012, the district was found to be the ninth least compact congressional district in the United States.John Delaney, who represented the district after unseating 11-term incumbent republican Roscoe Bartlett, gave up the seat in 2018 to focus on his bid for president and was succeeded by fellow Democrat David Trone, who won re-election in 2020 as well. However, after redistricting in 2022, the district became much more competitive, giving up a portion of heavily Democratic Montgomery County in exchange for a more Republican-leaning portion of Frederick County. Nevertheless, Trone was re-elected by nearly 10 points over Maryland House of Delegates member Neil Parrott.

Warm Spring Run is an 11.9-mile-long (19.2 km) non-navigable tributary stream of the Potomac River in Morgan County of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. It rises on the eastern side of Warm Springs Ridge (1,115 feet) and parallels U.S. Route 522 for most of its course. Warm Spring Run enters the Potomac River at Hancock. Warm Spring Run is primarily fed by springs on Warm Springs Ridge, the best-known of these being the springs at Berkeley Springs State Park in Berkeley Springs through which it flows.
