Oran Province (Arabic: ولاية وهران, Wilāya Wahrān) is a province (wilayah) in Algeria whose seat is the city of the same name.

Bey's Palace (Arabic: قصر الباي) is a historic palace in Oran, Algeria dating back to the Ottoman era. It was a residence of the ruler who belonged to the Western Baylik. The palace is situated in Sidi al-Houari, near the mount Marjaju, and it is categorized as a national heritage. The palace was built in 18th century, commissioned by Muhammad Bey the Great. The palace has an area size of around 5.6 hectare. It consists of diwan (public room), suite, harem, two guard towers which date back to 1345 during the Marinid era, barracks (which were used as a horse stable as well by both Ottomans and French), courtyard, and several other adjacent facilities. Today it is a favorite spot for tourists both domestic and foreign.

The siege of Oran (1693) was an attempt by the Alaouite sultan Ismail Ibn Sharif to take the city of Oran, which was then under Spanish rule. After being defeated by the Spanish, he was attacked and defeated again by the Algerian Arab tribes while retreating from the territory.

Bahia Center (Arabic: الباهية سنتر) is a complex of 31-story skyscrapers in Oran, Algeria. The first of the 31-floor towers houses a shopping mall and a 500-room hotel. It is the second tallest building in Oran, and the second tallest building in Algeria, Bahia Center Tower was designed by MobilArt.

University Hospital Center Dr. Benaouda Benzerdjeb (Arabic: المركز الإستشفائي الجامعي د. بن عودة بن زرجب, French: Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Dr Benaouda Benzerdjeb), shortly known as CHU Oran is a large research hospital affiliated with the University of Oran in Oran, Algeria with a capacity of exceeding 1000 beds, established in 1877, located in front of the Medical faculty. A new modern hospital was developed in 2003, at a cost of €120 million. The hospital is a major teaching facility of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oran. The original hospital was designed by noted Japanese architect Kenzō Tange, and is regarded as an example of his metabolic architecture concept. This public hospital is one of 14 hospitals designated Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire (CHU) in Algeria.

The Imam el-Houari Mosque (Arabic: مسجد الامام الهواري, French: Mosquée imam el-Houari) is a historic mosque located in Oran, Algeria. The mosque is also known as Bey Mohamed Othman Al Kabir Mosque (مسجد بك محمد عثمان الكبير/Mosquée Bey Mohamed Othman El-Kébir) after Baba Mohammed ben-Osman, the Dey of the Deylik of Algiers.
