Table View is a West Coast suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, named after its view of Table Mountain. It has expanded rapidly since the 1970s and has extensions such as Flamingo Vlei, Sunridge, West Riding, Parklands, and Killarney. Table View has various shopping malls, such as Bayside Mall and Table Bay Mall.

Bloubergstrand is mainly a residential area, and attracts large numbers of visitors especially kitesurf enthusiasts. The beach at Bloubergstrand is a popular location for a classic view of Table Mountain across the bay and is one of the world's top kitesurf destinations. Robben Island is located 6.9 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of the coast of Bloubergstrand.

Table View High School was founded in 1986 in Table View, near Cape Town, and is a public dual-medium Afrikaans and English school that enrolls both boys and girls (co-educational). The school is financially assisted by the Western Cape Education Department and therefore, like most other schools in South Africa, it charges a school fee, as regulated by the South African Schools Act. The school's current principal as of 2018 is Ms. R Cummings.

Parklands is one of the fastest-growing residential developments in the Western Cape. It is characterised by lower-density suburban areas and higher-density apartment block areas; the latter are largely inhabited by African diaspora residents.

The Table Bay Nature Reserve is an 880-hectare (2,200-acre) nature reserve in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa. It consists of several smaller constituent reserves including Rietvlei Wetland Reserve, Diep River Fynbos Corridor, Zoarvlei Wetlands, Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve, and Milnerton Lagoon, as well as surrounding protected areas. These adjacent reserves were amalgamated on 27 June 2012, in order to improve the biodiversity management in the built-up area. It is managed by the City of Cape Town's Environmental Resource Management Department, with offices at Rietvlei.The Table Bay Nature Reserve forms the southernmost buffer area of the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve, and links it to the edge of Cape Town's city centre. It also contains a large portion of the critically endangered lowland habitats remaining in Cape Town. The central feature in the Table Bay Nature Reserve is the Rietvlei wetland system. The Rietvlei Wetlands and Milnerton Lagoon were proclaimed as a Nature Area on 3 August 1984, in proclamation number 1632 of Provincial Gazette No. 9345. The Nature Reserve is partly owned by the City of Cape Town and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature – South Africa, who own two of the Erven. The City of Cape Town manages these two Erven on a 99-year lease for the purposes of nature conservation.

It is managed by the City of Cape Town's Environmental Resource Management Department.The Rietvlei Wetland Reserve forms part of the greater 880 hectares (2,200 acres) Table Bay Nature Reserve.

Milnerton Racecourse is located in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa and is owned and managed by Gold Circle. Though the racecourse is not used for races anymore, it is still used for the training and stabling of racing horses. Much of Gold Circle's land around the race track was sold for the development of the Royal Ascot residential precinct. The land inside the race tracks was retained by the City of Cape Town for nature conservation purposes. This conservation land was formerly called the Royal Ascot Conservation Area, but is now called the Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve.
