Will Rogers State Beach is a beach park on the Santa Monica Bay, at the Pacific coast of Southern California. Located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, the beach is owned by the California Department of Parks and Recreation; however, it is managed and maintained by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors. A section just south of the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Entrada Drive (34.026053°N 118.518824°W / 34.026053; -118.518824 (Los Angeles Gay Beach)) is popular within the LGBT community and is therefore considered Los Angeles' unofficial gay beach; this section is often referred to as Ginger Rogers Beach.

The Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine lies a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean, on Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades, California. It was founded and dedicated by Paramahansa Yogananda, on August 20, 1950, and is owned by the Self-Realization Fellowship. The 10-acre (40,000 m2) site has lush gardens, a large spring-fed lake framed by natural hillsides, and a variety of flora and fauna, swans, ducks, koi, turtles, and lotus flowers. The property is a natural amphitheater. Thousands of visitors come each year.

The Villa Aurora at 520 Paseo Miramar is located in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles and has been used as an artists' residence since 1995. It is the former home of the German-Jewish author Lion Feuchtwanger and his wife Marta. The Feuchtwangers bought this Spanish-style mansion in 1943 for only $9,000, the annual salary of a school teacher. The house was a popular meeting place for artists and the community of German-speaking émigrés. Lion Feuchtwanger wrote six of his historical novels in this house: Der Tag wird kommen, Waffen für Amerika, Die Jüdin von Toledo, Narrenweisheit oder Tod und Verklärung des Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Jefta und seine Töchter, and Goya oder der arge Weg der Erkenntnis.

The Bernheimer Gardens were 8-acre (350,000 sq ft; 32,000 m2; 3.2 ha) 20th-century formal gardens in California in the United States that showcased a private collection of bronze statues from Asia. The gardens were open to the public at (corner of Marquez Street) in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, below what is now the Sunset Highlands neighborhood, from 1928 until 1944. The gardens also featured Asian-influenced plantings and tea houses, presumably chashitsu. They were sometimes called the Bernheimer Chinese Gardens or the Bernheimer Oriental Gardens; surviving photos of the buildings show a strong Japanese design influence.In 1936, it was reported that some US$3,000,000 (equivalent to about $63,266,190 in 2022) had been invested in the gardens. The Bernheimer Gardens were known for their annual begonia show. A landslide below the gardens closed "Roosevelt Highway" (now called the Pacific Coast Highway) in 1944. This was the first of a series of "devastating landslides" that destroyed the gardens, leading to their closure. The founder of the gardens, Adolph B. Bernheimer, died at the same time as the landslides began and the gardens deteriorated until, by 1951, there was no sign of them left.The same family had an estate in Hollywood at what is now Yamashiro Restaurant.

The Villa de Leon, also known as the Kauffman Estate, is a historic 35-room, 10,277 sq ft (954.8 m2) Italian Revival mansion in the Castellemmare neighborhood of Malibu, California. The mansion overlooks Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean and is situated in close proximity to the Getty Villa. It was designed by prominent Los Angeles architect Kenneth A. MacDonald Jr. in 1926 for Austrian builder and investor in wool Leon Kauffman and his wife Clemence.The building has 35 rooms, including 9 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a grand salon (32 x 64 ft.), a library, a circular dining room, a butler’s pantry, an elevator and a seven-car garage. The construction price of Villa de Leon was $1 million (equivalent to ~$17 million in 2022) and included a central vacuum, hand-made crystal chandeliers, Italian tiles with gold grouting, imported marbles, hand-carved wooden beams, mahogany paneling from Thailand, wrought-iron gates. The Villa de Leon took about five years to complete.

The Getty Villa is an educational center and art museum located at the easterly end of the Malibu coast in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, United States. One of two campuses of the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Getty Villa is dedicated to the study of the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. The collection has 44,000 Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities dating from 6,500 BC to 400 AD, including the Lansdowne Heracles and the Victorious Youth. The UCLA/Getty Master's Program in Archaeological and Ethnographic Conservation is housed on this campus.

The Bel-Air Bay Club is both an event venue (Upper Club) and a private beach club (Lower Club) located in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California. The Upper Club, includes an ocean view and on-site accommodations available for private parties. The interior of the Bel-Air Bay Club Upper Club includes large windows, a fireplace, and iron chandeliers. The Bel-Air Bay Club is primarily used as a wedding, social, and corporate event venue.

Vittorio's was an Italian restaurant in the Pacific Palisades.

The Pacific Palisades Bowl Mobile Estates was a community of 172 manufactured and mobile homes in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It featured recreational facilities and a pool, and was one of the only affordable housing options in the Pacific Palisades. The community was destroyed in the Palisades Fire of 2025.

Arch Rock was a natural arch formation located just south of Topanga Canyon along the coast of Santa Monica Bay, Los Angeles County, California in the United States. Arch Rock was located at what is now 18412 Pacific Coast Highway. It was a popular destination for day trips from the young town of Santa Monica. The arch collapsed or was surreptitiously demolished the evening of March 24, 1906, possibly because it was an inconvenient obstacle to creating a coast route for the new-fangled automobiles. Another account says a railroad crew dynamited the formation under cover of darkness. A coach route had previously traveled right under the arch but was only accessible at low tide.Nearby Castle Rock was demolished as part of a road expansion project in 1945.

The Malibu Feed Bin was a pet supply and gift store in Malibu, California, United States. Housed in a red barn, the store sold various agricultural and agricultural-themed products such as pet food, animal feed and outdoor furniture and had a gift shop with farm-themed and other seasonal items for sale. It was located at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. In 1961, Asa "Ace" Smith established the Malibu Feed Bin, the result of a merger of a local ceramics vendor, 101 Imports, and Malibu Feed and Fuel. Two years later, he established the Keep Christ in Christmas Nativity scene, an annual tradition in Malibu, the hay for which was donated by the business to the display's organizers for most of the event's history. The Feed Bin was purchased by Marty and Patricia Morehart in 1966, and remained in their family for four generations. Heavy rains forced the closure of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in 1969, forcing the business to close for several months. In the 1970s, the Moreharts discovered that the building next door to the Feed Bin was inhabited by members of the Manson Family. Hundreds of 50-pound (23 kg) bags of dog food were stolen from the Malibu Feed Bin between June and October 1977. With total losses amounting to 23 short tons (21,000 kg), the Moreharts offered a $1,000 (equivalent to $5,189 in 2024) reward for information leading to the identity of the thieves. The building survived the 1993 Old Topanga Wildfire. In September 2001 a 1,659-acre (671 ha) parcel of land encompassing the Malibu Feed Bin was acquired by the California Department of Parks and Recreation to be added to Topanga State Park in a deal facilitated by the American Land Conservancy. Several businesses within the area, including the Malibu Feed Bin, were initially considered for demolition. The California Department of Parks and Recreation hired a historian to determine which businesses were culturally relevant. In 2003, the business was assessed as "not compatible with serving visitors in a state park," but later that year they agreed to make unspecified changes and were able to remain in business. That year, the business put up a white banner, measuring 40 feet (12 m) by 3 feet (0.91 m) with "God Bless Our Troops" written in large blue lettering, in honor of the Moreharts' son, a corporal in the United States Marine Corps fighting in the Iraq War. The sign was stolen over the weekend of November 15–16, 2003. The building was destroyed in the Palisades Fire on January 7, 2025.

Kehillat Israel is a Reconstructionist synagogue located in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California, in the United States. It is one of two Reconstructionist synagogues in greater Los Angeles (the other being the Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue). Its senior rabbi is Amy Bernstein.
