Davenport, Iowa's annual Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival commemorates Bix Beiderbecke, a famous jazz cornetist, pianist, and composer who was born in Davenport in 1903. It is one of the largest jazz festivals in the United States. It is held on the weekend after the Bix 7 Road Race, another local event named for Beiderbecke.

Municipal Inn is a historic structure located in LeClaire Park along the Mississippi River in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties on March 17, 1999. It is also known as the Levee Inn.

Union Station, also known as Union Station and Burlington Freight House, is located near the riverfront in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The buildings are in a section of downtown with several historic structures. Across Ripley Street to the west is the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Freight House, and to the east across Harrison Street is the Dillon Memorial. On River Drive northwest from the Burlington Freight House is The Linograph Company Building. Across Beiderbecke Drive to the south are the W.D. Petersen Memorial Music Pavilion and the Mississippi River.

Sainte Genevieve, also known as The Genny, was a steam powered Cutterhead dredge. At the time she was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 she was located on the Mississippi River along the levee near downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States.

The Dillon Memorial is a historic structure located in LeClaire Park, near downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1983 and on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 1993. It is commonly referred to as the Dillon Fountain.

The National Center for Midwest Art and Design (known as NCMAD) is based at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa. Founded in 2007, it is an academic institute that promotes the study of art, architecture and design in the Midwestern United States. NCMAD sponsors research, publications, and academic conferences on various related topics. The recent museum exhibition entitled "Global Currents: The John Deere Art Collection" is an example of an NCMAD project. NCMAD is currently responsible for the Grant Wood archive at the museum. The founding director was Dr. Gregory Gilbert, head of the Art History department at Knox College (Illinois), which displays part of its Midwestern art collection at the Figge Art Museum.

The Schauder Hotel was a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was built in the Italianate style facing the Mississippi River, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Davenport Skybridge is a pedestrian cable-stayed bridge that spans River Drive (Highway 67) in downtown Davenport, Iowa. It connects LeClaire Park to a courtyard and parking ramp on 2nd Street, located near the River Music Experience. The bridge, completed in 2005, is 50 feet (15 m) tall, 575 feet (175 m) long, and features 99 feet (30 m) columns. It was designed by Holabird & Root and Neumann Monson, P.C.At the south end, facing the river, is an observation deck with a view of the Mississippi River, LeClaire Park Bandshell, the Centennial Bridge, and the Davenport Levee, where many festivals take place throughout the warmer months. The inside of the Skybridge contains kaleidoscope lighting. The lighting consists of 228 LED fixtures and 8,036 individual lights. The LEDs are capable of displaying various patterns. The lighting color and patterns can be adjusted for events occurring in the area, such as a red, white, and blue color scheme for the Independence Day; red and green for Christmas; and various other patterns. The Skybridge was a component of the Riverfront/Downtown Davenport improvement program, River Renaissance. The total cost of the structure was $7 million. Iowa taxpayers provided $3.5 million in the form of a Vision Iowa grant, Rhythm City Casino paid $2 million, and the City of Davenport taxpayers spent $500,000 for its initial construction. The Riverboat Development Authority, the agency responsible for distributing some of the taxes collected from Rhythm City, allocated $1.3 million. The bridge's stated purpose is to serve as a tourist attraction with a unique vantage point of the Mississippi River, while also functioning as a safe way to cross the highway.

The Schick's Express and Transfer Co. was located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The building became part of the Petersen, Harned, von Maur department store complex.

The W.D. Petersen Memorial Music Pavilion, commonly referred to as the LeClaire Park Bandshell, is located on Beiderbecke Drive in LeClaire Park, Davenport, Iowa. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties in 1993.

The J.H.C. Petersen's Sons Wholesale Building was an historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was built in 1910 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The First National Bank Building is an historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District. The building is now known as the US Bank Building, its main tenant.
