West Third Street Historic District is located on the west side of downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The historic district connects the central business district with the working-class neighborhoods of the West End. Its historical significance is its connection to Davenport's German-American community. Germans were the largest ethnic group to settle in Davenport.

The Siemer House was located on Lot 1, Block 17 of the original town of Davenport, Iowa, United States, which today is the west side of downtown. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. In 1983 it was included as a contributing property in the West Third Street Historic District. The building deteriorated and it was torn down in 2007.

The Hoffman Building was a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The building was built around 1855. John V. Hoffman operated a grocery store in the shop on the first floor. He lived in the apartment on the second floor. The building was typical of Davenport's early commercial architecture with a steep-pitched side-gable roof. It featured a well-preserved cast-iron shop front. In its early days a long shed roof extended from the building and was supported by posts along the curb to shelter the sidewalk. It and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Like the Prien Building next door, Mueller Lumber Company across the street and the Riepe Drug Store/G. Ott Block on the 400 block of Second Street, it was torn down in the late 20th century.

The International Harvester Truck Sales and Service Station, also known as Bowstring Lofts, is a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. International Harvester had the building built in 1927 for their first truck sales and service facility. For forty years it housed flower wholesaler Tri-City Florist Supply and Florist Distributing Inc. In 2024, the building opened as Bowstring Lofts. Its name comes from the arched steel roof support structures that are known as bowstring trusses, which are generally used to span longer distances in buildings and bridges. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2025.

Koenig Building was a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The Italianate style commercial building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Augustus Koenig had this building constructed in 1872 for his daughters Pauline and Emma. They operated a millinery and fancy goods shop on the main floor and they lived in the apartments above. In later years the commercial space housed a tavern. The structure has subsequently been torn down and the property is now a surface parking lot. The Koenig Building was a three-story brick structure. It featured a bracketed cornice with a curved pediment. The round-arch widows on the second and third floors had metal hoods with keystones. The building was typical of the city's Victorian commercial buildings.

The Hiller Building, also known as the Schick Apartments, is located on the edge of downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. The Federal style building is a row house. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1983 it was included as a contributing property in the West Third Street Historic District.

Linden Flats was located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and included as a contributing property in the West Third Street Historic District in 1983. The building was torn down after it was destroyed in a fire in 2005.

The Central Fire Station is located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States and serves as the headquarters of the Davenport Fire Department, as well as the downtown fire station. Built from 1901 to 1902, the original building is the oldest active fire station west of the Mississippi River. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District.

The German American Heritage Center, also known as the Germania-Miller/Standard Hotel, is a cultural center and museum in Davenport, Iowa, United States, that chronicles and preserves the history of German-Americans in the Midwest region. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Scott County Jail is the main detention facility for Scott County, Iowa, United States. Inmates are housed for no more than one year, by Iowa law. It is located in the county seat, Davenport, and is part of same facility as the Scott County Courthouse.
