Basilica and Convent of San Pedro, Lima

The monumental complex of the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco of Lima, also known as "San Francisco el Grande" or "San Francisco de Jesús", is located in the Historic Center of Lima, Peru. This church together with the Sanctuary Nuestra Señora de la Soledad and the Church del Milagro set up one of the welcoming and artistic corners of Lima. Ramón Menéndez Pidal, Spanish philologist and scholar in this regard commented: "It is the largest and noblest monument that erected in these prodigious lands the conquest". The church and convent are part of the Historic Centre of Lima, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991.

The Casa de Pilatos, also known as the Casa Esquivel y Jarava, is a building located in front of the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco in the historic centre of Lima, which currently functions as the de facto headquarters of the Constitutional Court. It was declared Cultural heritage of Peru. Highlights include its stone doorway, the only one of its kind in the city, the two-section hallway and the imperial staircase, which separates the main patio from the backyard, placed in the central axis of the house.

The Park of the Wall (Spanish: Parque de La Muralla) is a public park located in the central district of Lima, Peru. It was inaugurated in 2004. Within its extension is part of the former Walls of Lima. The park is located between the Rímac River and the historic centre of Lima.

Bodega y Quadra Museum (Spanish: Museo de Sitio Bodega y Quadra) is a site museum located at second block of Jirón Áncash, in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Located on the remains of a terrain that dates back to the Viceroyalty of Peru, it illustrates the daily life of people during the Spanish and Republican era of the city.

The Desamparados station (Spanish: Estación de Desamparados) is a railway station in Lima, Peru. It is situated on the left margin of the Rímac River, next to the Government Palace. The station was named after the church of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados. The project began in 1890 by the Peruvian Corporation and three years later the Lima–La Oroya route was inaugurated. The line became known as the Ferrocarril Central Andino At present the station only has administrative use, although it can offer passenger excursion services between Lima and the central mountain range. It serves mainly as an exhibition hall, exhibiting such items as the presidential wagon "Paquita", named in honor of the wife of the then President of the Republic Oscar R. Benavides.

The Casa Arenas Loayza is a historic residence in the Cercado de Lima, Peru. Located in the historic centre of Lima, it forms part of the Cultural heritage of Peru. It is located a block away from the Government Palace.

The House of the Thirteen Coins (Spanish: Casa de las Trece Monedas) is a historical building in the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, in the historic centre of Lima, built during the Viceregal era of Peru. Since 2009, it houses the National Afro-Peruvian Museum.

The National Afro-Peruvian Museum is a museum dedicated to the acquisition, preservation and exhibition of objects related to the history of African descendants in Peru. Its headquarters is located in the House of the Thirteen Coins located on Ancash Street in the historic centre of Lima. It was inaugurated on 4 June 2009. The museum has nine permanent exhibition halls, the main exhibits showing the beginnings of trade in African slaves in Latin America, as well as the slave trade in Peru. In the museum, relics are exhibited from colonial times until the beginning of the Republic.

The Casa del Oidor is a historical building located next to the Plaza Mayor, in the historic centre of Lima, Peru. It is best known for the large balcony that runs through its façade. It is part of the Cultural heritage of Peru.

The Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the capital of Peru, is the residence of the Archbishop of Lima, and the administrative headquarters of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lima. It is located on the Plaza Mayor of Lima, in the Historic Centre of Lima.

The Governorate of New Toledo was a Spanish Governorate of the Crown of Castile formed from the previous southern half of the Inca Empire, stretching south into present day central Chile, and east into present day central Brazil. It was established by King Charles I of Spain in 1528. Diego de Almagro was the appointed Spanish royal governor. It was replaced by the Spanish Viceroyalty of Peru in 1542.
