Taronga Zoo is a government-run public zoo located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, in the suburb of Mosman, on the shores of Sydney Harbour. The opening hours are between 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Taronga is an Aboriginal word meaning "beautiful view".It was officially opened on 7 October 1916. Taronga Zoo Sydney is managed by the Zoological Parks Board of New South Wales, under the trading name Taronga Conservation Society, along with its sister zoo, the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. Divided into various zoogeographic regions, the 28-hectare (69-acre) Taronga Zoo Sydney is home to more than 2,600 animals of approximately 150 different species. It has a zoo shop, a cafe, and an information centre.

Taronga Zoo ferry wharf is located on the northern side of Sydney Harbour serving Taronga Zoo. It is a short walk from Taronga Zoo's Lower Entrance.

South Mosman ferry wharf is located on the northern side of Sydney Harbour serving the Sydney suburb of Mosman. It is located at the end of Musgrave St, and was known as Musgrave Street Wharf from the 19th century through to the 1990s when the State Government renamed it "Mosman South". Today it is known as South Mosman but many locals still refer to it as Musgrave Street wharf.

Monterey is a heritage-listed residential apartments located at 1 Avenue Road, Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1900 to 1901. It is also known as Monterey residential apartments. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Manly–Agnes collision was a 1904 shipwreck in Sydney Harbour, Australia. It involved the 30' launch Agnes and the steamer SS Manly which was a much larger passenger ferry. The Agnes was carrying a family between Snails Bay and Middle Harbour.

Robertson Point Light, also known as Cremorne Point Light, is an active lighthouse in Cremorne Point, a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is the sibling of Bradleys Head Light. The lighthouse is mounted on a rock and connected to shore by a footbridge. The light characteristic shown is a green occulting light with a cycle of three seconds (Oc.G. 3s), the same as Bradleys Head Light.

The Barn Scout Hall is a heritage-listed former whaling boat servicing facility and now Scout hall and community facility at 3a Avenue Road, Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built by Archibald Mosman. It is also known as Whaling Station. In 1925, the property was purchased by parents for the 1st Mosman Scouts, which was founded in 1908. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Old Cremorne ferry wharf is located on the northern side of Sydney Harbour serving the Sydney suburb of Cremorne. Old Cremorne Wharf, in Mosman Bay on the eastern side of Cremorne Point, was built in the nineteenth century, before the 1911 opening of Cremorne Point Wharf with tram connection on the western end of the Point. The original wharf was at the current location of the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club, but was relocated slightly north to its current location before 1905. The wharf has no road access and is only accessible by foot along the Cremorne Point Reserve path.

28 Mistral Avenue is a heritage-listed residence located at 28 Mistral Avenue, Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by E. Jeaffreson Jackson. It is also known as 8 Magic Grove. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Mosman Bay is a bay of Sydney Harbour adjacent to the suburb of Mosman, 4 km north-east of the Sydney CBD in New South Wales, Australia. Three ferry wharves, Mosman Bay, South Mosman and Old Cremorne, are within the bay, all being served by the F6 Mosman Bay ferry service.

The Mosman bomb hoax took place in the Lower North Shore Sydney suburb of Mosman, New South Wales, Australia on 3 August 2011. An apparent collar bomb was placed around the neck of 18-year-old student Madeleine Pulver by a balaclava-clad home intruder. A note attached to the device stated that any attempt to alert law enforcement would "trigger an immediate BRIAN DOUGLAS WELLS event". Brian Wells was a pizza delivery driver who was killed in a bank robbery involving a collar bomb in 2003.

The Mosman Bay Sewage Aqueduct is a heritage-listed public pedestrian bridge and sewage aqueduct at Avenue Road, Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Sewerage Construction Branch and NSW Department of Public Works and built from 1899 to 1901 by NSW Department of Public Works. It is also known as the Aqueduct over Mosman Bay. The property is owned by Sydney Water, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 1999.
