James Mason House and Farm is a historic home located at Hedgesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The two-story stone house was built about 1809, and is a four-bay limestone building with a gable roof measuring 24 feet wide by 22 feet deep. A two-story, concrete block residential addition was completed about 1900. Also on the property is a bank barn (c. 1890) and corn crib (c. 1890).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

They include the Falling Waters Presbyterian Church (1834) and Manse (1922) and Stephen Hammond Mill (c. 1790), Miller's House (c. 1790), and Spring House (c. 1800). The buildings are of masonry construction. The sites are the Falling Waters Presbyterian Church Cemetery and the site of Dr. Allen Hammonds House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Four Locks is a former small community which is now part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. It was once a thriving community of homes and businesses in Washington County, Maryland that supported the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal from the mid-19th century, until its closure in the 1920s. In its heyday, the small community consisted of two stores, two warehouses, a dry dock for boat repair, a school, and post office, plus about a dozen houses.

It was built about 1798 and is a two-story, three-bay, gable-roofed frame dwelling. The two-story, three-bay, gable-roofed frame wing was added about 1900. It is a rare 18th-century frame building and representative of the transition from the Georgian to Federal style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Power Plant and Dam No. 5, also known as Honeywood Dam, comprises a dam on the Potomac River, originally built for the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, and a power plant built to take advantage of the river's flow to generate hydroelectric power. The dam is included in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. The dam was originally built to retain water for the C&O Canal in 1835. It was modified in 1993, and is 20 feet (6.1 m) tall, retaining 490 acres (200 ha) of reservoir. The 1835 dam was constructed of wood cribbing, and was attacked by Confederate forces under General Stonewall Jackson in December 1861 with the aim of destroying the dam, depriving the upper C&O Canal of water and consequently cutting off coal shipments to Washington, D.C. Two assaults by Jackson's forces failed to cause significant damage to the dam. The dam was later replaced with a stone structure, which has been upgraded with concrete. The power plant is a two-story brick building on the West Virginia side of the river. It was built circa 1900 as the Honeywood paper mill. The first Honeywood Mill was built at the same time as the dam, in 1835 by Edward Colston. It burned a few years later and was replaced, then burned in the Civil War. The power plant is operated by FirstEnergy with a total installed capacity of 1210 kilowatts.The dam and power plant were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Hedges–Robinson–Myers House is a historic home and farm complex located near Hedgesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The main section of the house is a two-story, four bay, gable roofed section with weatherboard added about 1880 in the Gothic Revival style. The western section of the log house was built about 1750. Also on the property is a bank barn (1850), ice house, stone smokehouse, slave quarters, corn crib, and spring and dairy house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Faraway Farm, also known as the Daniel Ropp House, is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built about 1865 and is a two-story, "L"-shaped brick dwelling. It is five bays wide and the ell is four bays long with a two-story recessed porch. The entrance features a one bay, one story pedimented portico with plain balusters and column shafts with chamfered edges, known as a "West Virginia Porch."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
