Bank of Nolensville

Nolensville is a town in Williamson County, Tennessee. Its population was 13,829 at the 2020 census. It was established in 1797 by William Nolen, a veteran of the American Revolutionary War. Located in Middle Tennessee, it is about 22 miles southeast of Nashville. The town was reincorporated in 1996.

The Historic Nolensville School, is a former public school in Nolensville, Tennessee, that had for many years served as the community's recreation center (the Nolensville Recreation Center). The school was built in 1937 using a Rosenwald School plan. It was the "first modern educational building" in Nolensville and is unusual as the only school for whites in Tennessee that was built to a Rosenwald School plan. African American students did not attend the school until it was integrated in 1966.A gymnasium was added in 1948. The building became a community recreation center in 1972 after a new school was built to replace it. In 2009, after the town of Nolensville announced plans to convert the 1972 school into a new recreation center, the Nolensville Historical Society began a campaign to preserve the old Nolensville School for use as a community center. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 20, 2012.

The Sherwood Green House is a property in Williamson County, Tennessee, near Nolensville, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.It was built c.1810 and had significant developments also in c.1840, and c.1928. It includes Central passage plan and other architecture. When listed, the property included four contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two non-contributing structures, on an area of 8 acres (3.2 ha).Like the John Motheral House and the William Leaton House (also NRHP-listed in Williamson County), the house was built as a single story log pen building, and was later enlarged to achieve an "imposing" two story frame construction.The house was expanded and covered with weatherboard in c.1840. A second story porch with square columns was added then. A first-floor one-story porch with square Doric-capital posts was added in 1928. The interior includes a c.1840 stairway with a square newel post and square balusters, and fireplace mantles having simple Greek Revival design with Doric motif pilasters.Contributing outbuildings include a log kitchen (c.1840) and a log smokehouse (c.1840), both with half dovetail notching, and a slave house (c.1840) later used as a milk house.Sherwood Green was a surveyor who was paid in land for his services. Green came to own more than 1,000 acres (400 ha) in the area.

The George W. Morton House is a property in Nolensville, Tennessee, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It was built c.1870.The property's eligibility for NRHP listing was addressed in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources. The site was relocated in Nolensville on February 4, 2019, after which time it was removed from the National Register.

Nolensville High School is a high school in Nolensville, Tennessee. It opened in 2016 with grades 9–10, adding a junior class in 2017 and a senior class in Fall 2018. The school is located in northeastern Williamson County in the expanding town of Nolensville.

The William W. Johnson House in Franklin, Tennessee, along with the James Scales House, another Williamson County house, are notable as late 19th century central passage plan residences that "display period decoration at eaves and porch.": 43  It has been described as I-house architecture.The 1.5-acre (0.61 ha) property, including two contributing buildings and two contributing structures, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.Dates of historic significance for the property include c.1820, c.1840, and c.1875.

Samuel Smith was a 15-year-old African-American youth who was lynched by a white mob, hanged and shot in Nolensville, Tennessee, on December 15, 1924. No one was ever convicted of the lynching. Smith's memory was honored in June 2017 with a plaque at St. Anselm Episcopal Church in Nashville; two other lynching victims from Nashville have also been memorialized there.

The Jordan–Williams House is an Italianate style house in Nolensville, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It was built or has other significance as of c.1855, and includes Central passage plan and Italianate architecture. When listed the property included one contributing building, one non-contributing building, and two non-contributing structures, on an area of 10 acres (4.0 ha).According to a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources, it is one of a handful of notable, historic Italianate style residences in the county, others being the James Wilhoite House, the John Hunter House, the Owen-Cox House, the Y.M. Rizer House (c. 1875, a combination of Italianate and Second Empire design), the Henry Pointer House, the Andrew C. Vaughn House, and the Thomas Critz House.The property is denoted as Williamson County historic resource WM-197.The house "features an elaborate milled porch with extensive decoration and is one of the best examples of this style home in the county." Built by Edward J. Jordan, it became the home of his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Thomas G. Williams, who had served in the 20th Tennessee Infantry.

Cane Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a historic church in Antioch, Tennessee. It was built in 1859 and added to the National Register in 1976.
