Svetinja (pronounced [sʋɛˈtiːnja]) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Trebnje in eastern Slovenia. It lies in the hills east of Dobrnič in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

The settlement gets its name from a 16th-century church dedicated to Saint Maurice (Slovene: sveti Mavricij, colloquially known as Šmaver). A second church is dedicated to Saint Anne and was a pilgrimage church built in the early 18th century.
