Kooky Canuck Restaurant opened in 2005 in Memphis, Tennessee, in the United States. It is a family business owned by Shawn and Lana Danko. Its original name was the Big Foot Lodge. In 2008, a California-based restaurant ownership filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against the Danko's claiming that their concept of the log cabin design and a large Sasquatch statue were inappropriately used. To settle the lawsuit, Shawn and Lana Danko changed the name to Kooky Canuck. The restaurants original location is in downtown Memphis directly across the street from the Peabody Hotel. In 2014, a second location opened in Cordova, Tennessee a suburb of Memphis.

The Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art is located at 119 South Main Street at the intersection of Gayoso Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. The museum was opened in 1998 as the Peabody Place Museum and in January 2007 it received its present name.The museums collection is based on the private collection of Memphis developers Jack and Marilyn Belz, who owned the Peabody Hotel and Peabody Place. The Belz features over 1,000 objects, including works of jade, tapestries, furniture, carvings, and other historical and artistic objects. The museum also houses one of the finest collections of pieces from the Qing dynasty.

It was built in 1929 for the bank of Commerce and Trust, later known as the National Bank of Commerce (now part of SunTrust Banks). Its construction cost $2 million. It was designed by Hanker & Cairns in the Classical Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 7, 1980.

The New Daisy Theatre is a music venue located on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. It plays host to both local and national acts, as well the site of rental events.The theater opened in 1936 and has featured artists such as John Lee Hooker, Gatemouth Brown, Jerry Lee Lewis, Al Green, Sam and Dave, Bob Dylan, Alex Chilton, the Cramps, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kid Memphis, Son Lewis, Nirvana, Prince, Rufus Thomas, Justin Timberlake, Nelly, the Cult and Oasis, Ty Dolla $ign, J. Cole, Machine Gun Kelly, and All Time Low, among others.Bob Dylan used the venue to record a video of a song from his Grammy-winning CD Time Out of Mind.

FedExForum is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee. It is the home of the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA and the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of the University of Memphis, both of whom previously played home games at the Memphis Pyramid. The venue also has the capability of hosting ice hockey games, concerts, and family shows. The arena officially opened in September 2004 after much debate and also a derecho wind storm on July 22, 2003, that nearly brought down the cranes that were building it near the famed Beale Street. It was built at a cost of US$250 million and is owned by the City of Memphis; naming rights were purchased by one of Memphis's best-known businesses, FedEx, for $92 million. FedExForum was financed using $250 million of public bonds, which were issued by the Memphis Public Building Authority (PBA).

The William R. Moore Dry Goods Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1913 for the William R. Moore Dry Goods company, founded in 1859, and designed by prominent Memphis architect Charles O. Pfeil. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 26, 1982.

The Memphis Cotton Exchange is located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, United States, on the corner of Front Street and Union Avenue. It was founded in 1874 as a result of the growing cotton market in Memphis, where trade was strong after the American Civil War. The first Cotton Exchange building was constructed in 1885. It was replaced by the Exchange Building in 1910, which housed it until a newer Cotton Exchange Building was completed in 1925.

The B. Lowenstein & Brothers Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. It was built in 1924 for the Lowenstein Company, a clothing company founded by Benedict Lowenstein, a German immigrant, in 1855. It was designed in the Beaux-Arts architectural style by Hanker & Cairns, in conjunction with Emile Weil. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 16, 1983.
